We loved the property - great rooms, comfortable bed, cool decor - having the record player and loads of records was also really fun. Good shower and toiletries. Coffee machine in the corridor made a great cup. Rob the owner was so friendly and helpful with information about local places for breakfast and hiking - thoroughly enjoyed his recommendations. The bar and restaurant are top notch - good array of beers on fraught, excellent cocktails, great wait staff and really tasty food. We just wish we stayed longer ! Thanks again - we will be back !

Nothing really - only tiny thing was no where to hang towels.

This is reputed to be the oldest inn in the Adirondacks and it retains it's sense of history and charm. Current owners have decorated it in retro style which gives it just enough of a contemporary feel and updated look to make it feel fresh. Dinner is served in the inn from Wednesday through Sunday which was, unfortunately, not available on the Tuesday I was registered to stay. This is my only regret as the dining area and bar look charming. Rooms well appointed with refrigerator, record player and plenty of light- comfortable bed and very clean room.

Surrounding area doesn't have much to offer in way of restaurants....for example, The Arsenal, which is down the street, for example, was out of 50% of items on their menu including ice! Really recommend staying at inn when dining room is open.

We liked that Room 3 had 2 rooms so our 13 yr old son could have his 'own' room with the futon bed. Loved the record player! Bathroom was larger than we had expected.

Wished breakfast was available as well as a ceiling fan in the main bedroom as the a/c was just adequate enough to cool off the 2 rooms.

Great location- we got in pretty late and Aaron and the team downstairs kindly seated us at the restaurant near the end of their night. Room was spacious- great décor. Had fun looking through the records. Was on a hiking trip with a friend, will definitely be back with my wife.

this place is awesome. the staff is so great- it’s clean and cool with great record players and old vinyls in the rooms- decor is awesome and it’s just a great find, total gem.

only drawback is limited hot water for showers - tried to shower when we checked in and water was cold after the first person in our group was done.

The inn was so quaint, cozy and comfortable. The updates were very nicely done. However, the bathroom sink continuously leaked and was old/outdated. Not a huge deal, but with all the other nicely done attributes, it would have been a nicer update.

Only complaint (which really isn't one, not a big deal) was the bathroom sink was leaky and old. The faucet was loose on one side and the other side continuously leaked.

Wonderful bed/mattress (in deluxe double room). Nice room but both sides overlooking parking lots, and some traffic noise until about 10.

Bar drinks good but food a bit mixed (but wait staff excellent).

Old house - tried (and did succeed) to make it as comfortable as possible. Good choices if dining there. Not much noise after evening

Spicy prices but relevant given location/area nearby

Lovely room, good location, nice restaurant downstairs.

Had some problems with check-in and check-out, never received any messages with instructions. But those were quickly solved.

We loved this place! NO TV...but an LP stereo in each room...with a large selection of albums! This small, adorable place was the best break in a long string of chain hotels. Excellent food, also. Lots of thoughtful details. Owner was so friendly. Don’t miss this one.
