The Boha Hotel

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to town centre and lake, yet having a peaceful and quite vibe. Most importantly I likely how the manager of the property and the staff addressed every need at a short notice and offered the best service. When I reached Lake Placid, I realised when booking I had made mistake by booking the wrong room type. The Manager, Yuri communicating through whataspp came up with a very good and effective solution and my stay was enjoyable and without any issues. The quality of room is very good and clean. The contactless check-in process works very well and is surprising convenient and also hassle free.

There was nothing that I would change about the experience.

The Boha was very clean and comfortable. It was extremely close to downtown, literally a minute or two walk and you’re on Main Street. The coffee station/old food truck along with fire pit area out back were a great place to hang and relax.

I didnt really have any negatives. It’s a bit odd not having a check in office/staff on site. That really was no issue though since they were extremely responsive via phone and text. Also, I believe they mentioned that they will be adding an office soon, so problem solved. The walls were a bit thin so you could hear some sound from the room above, but certainly nothing to disturb our stay.

The location was great! What I liked was the newly renovated room. Most importantly, we felt that the room was clean. There was a big screen TV with Roku and many free channels with movies. There was a small fridge in the room. There was no hair dryer. We asked for one with the reception and received one in just 10 min. I booked a super low rate and worried that the hotel won't honor it. My fear was unfounded, as the hotel manager Yuri reached out to me and said that my rate was a mistake but they would still honor it. A shout-out to the hotel for standing up for its reputation and honoring a price mistake.

There were some unfinished touches like the edging on the the wall. There was no hook or rack in the bathroom. It seems the renovation is not completed.

The personal touch was unrivaled. Yuri sent me a text with all the info I needed and even responded to my questions. It was also very tasteful and had its own unique and thoroughly enjoyable charm.

It's hard to come up with things to not like. It was one of the best experiences of its kind that I've ever had. The property is small, but the space is utilized exceptionally well. The walls are a bit thin but this is addressed with a respectful noise curfew. Every "flaw" is addressed and adopted into the overall charm of the place.

The room itself was great and was newly renovated, it still had the fresh wood smell! Location was fantastic too, it was only a short walk to the main strip. Plus, there was a grocery store somewhat close by too.

I would have liked the room to have been a bit bigger, but I can't expect it to be. The parking situation was tough as well, there are a limited number of spots and nothing very close by you can park at. Not much they can really do about that tho, you just have to secure a spot a hold it if you can.

Only a 5 minute walk from town centre, but quiet location. Lovely clean room, with plump pillows, thick towels and air conditioning. Good-sized fridge freezer plus use of iron & ironing board on request. Coffee and tea facilities in communal trailer, also microwave and toaster. Fire pit and chairs. Lovely design, both inside and out, if you’re into that kind of thing (which I am).

Water in cold water cooler ran out and I didn’t know how to refill it (late at night, so didn’t contact owner)

Location was excellent for us, only had time to use the room for sleeping, very clean, quiet, don’t need more than that personally. Yuri, the manager was in contact with me , made the check in and out very quick and easy. Thank you for your hospitality.

The only thing we missed is a place to hang our coats or jackets, was no closet space, a rack or some hooks somewhere at all, but for one night it was Okay.

Amazing new renovation! Stayed here for the Lake Placid Horse Show and loved it. The rooms are adorably decorated and the bed is massive. Check-in is seamless with just a text for the door code, and management is super accommodating. Also in a great location to walk to town or the sack shack. Highly reccomend the Boha! Thanks!

The decorations, the location to downtown, parking was always easy, the fire pit and fill up stations. On Saturday a staff member brought yummy donuts and had them out in the community area.

They had a community water dispenser in the back and a few times we tried to use it it was out of water. Not a huge problem but it happened more than once.

Very clean and the bed was super comfortable for a motel .

My toilet seat was extremely loses and the bathroom sink drain was stuck where I had to pull it out so that water will go down. The code that was given to me locked me out of my room thank god there was a cleaning lady on campus that was able to use her pin to get me into my room.
