Rodeway Inn Lake Placid

We just wwnt akiing to whitwface mountain we stayed with our two kids 10 and 12 it was good after day skiing we went in tge pool and used jacuzzi it was clean. Rooms were fine we stayed 4 nights hotel is avout a mile away from tge town you gotta drive town is cute a lot to do. Mountain is about 20 mims away.

Affordable, clean rooms with plenty of space for winter gear and luggage. Easy to control in-wall heater was great for drying out wet gloves and jackets after a day in the mountains.

The shower was a little cramped if taller than 6' but still useable. Hard to complain given the price of the rooms. Also couldn't find a place to get hot water to make tea after hours - breakfast room seemed locked.

Pool and hot tub both warm and welcoming after a long drive. Appreciated we could eat our supper near the pool area so our daughter could eat and go back to swimming quickly. Comfortable beds and clean room. Helpful and friendly staff.

Back doors to building (rooms 100-228) do not open with room key. It flashes green quickly but you cannot open the door, making parking in the back an inconvenience when unloading or reloading luggage.

Staff friendly. We enjoyed the pool and spa after a long hike climbing in the high peaks. the breakfast is very simple but good given covid; if looking for big breakfast there are diners in town and for outdoor options (covid again), pizza on the main drag in Lake Placid and awesome breakfast + lunch over in Wilmington at up a creek restaurant.

the property is older but don't know what else to expect for the price. There was a leak in the toilet tank that made condensation on the toilet and a bit of a wet floor. but not much else, this is such a good landing pad when you don't have time to camp and want to hike in the high peaks.

Breakfast was pathetic and the grab and go stuff is insulting to put in the same sentence as breakfast. If that's what you are going to serve for breakfast then you shouldn't even bother. The location was fine

the rooms didn't have a microwave and as much as I was hungry I wasn't going to go to the office to microwave anything because the walk was to far for me with all of my disabilities

It was clean and beds were comfy. It was very quite. Staff were very friendly.the location was perfect. Down the road from the corner store and Big Slide Brewery. Great price.

Our room smelled like mens cologne but we saw it was a room freshener hooked to air conditioner. It was too strong. A pine sent would be better.

Room was clean, comfortable bed. Simple. Lots of hot water. Good price. Close to Big Slide brewing

Breakfast could have used a bit more, a bit out of the way compared to the actual main part of village but price reflects that

Izzy at the front desk was excellent. However the manager was confrontational. Booked back around January asked to be checked in early had a wedding to go to at 4:00 when I booked online. Manager told me maybe I should have called them. Didn't care for the tone

Very good location...quiet at night .got a great night's sleep...although not fancy it was clean and we felt safe and the staff was very friendly and welcoming..would definitely stay there again!

cost was reasonable-rooms were adequate

2 requests were never answered, and in response to a polite question I had about a no show,the desk person(MANAGER) gave a sarcastic response
