The Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark

Everything was awesome. The water park was clean and minimal lines for the slides. The rooms were beyond what I expected for the deal I received from booking.com. Definitely a top tier resort.

The only bad thing about my stay was that they had multiple dining places located on the resort. Unfortunately, I have a child with multiple severe food allergies (dairy, egg, and soy and they require an epi-pen) and there was nothing for my child to eat. So everytime we had to leave to get food. There's a Walmart, burger king, taco bell, and dunkin nearby (less than 10min drive), but that's still inconvenient especially if you're at the water park.

I like how many things there was to do for families in one resort.

The king suite mattress was horrendous!!!! I thought my mattress at home was bad, but I was dreaming of going home and sleeping in my home mattresses after just 3 days!!! The mattress felt like a brick wall under our back- I had to take Tylenol before bed and after waking up. Also didn’t like that the water park was only open from 11pm-7pm- this made lots of people crowd there during that time. They should have it open longer for those who pay for the hotel. Arcade games are expensive and food is wayyyyy overpriced. My husband and I had the all you can eat buffet and it was $71 for some old 7:30pm chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks and Swedish meatballs.

It wasn't too crowded when we went, and there was a Pirate themes so my boys liked that.

Many of the shops and bars were closed until the afternoon. I went to the bar in the main lobby and by the arcade a few times after 3PM and there were no bartenders. I had to go to the waterpark bar to get a drink. Some of the restaurants are open on the weekends and others only open in the evenings. Prices for everything are pretty high. Hidden resort fees almost half the cost of a nights stay. Just put all the fees up front and don't surprise your guests with a folio that's double the original price.

It was just as fun as last time we visited prior to COVID, the staff was really nice and they went above and beyond every time we had a request for anything. The room was nice and clean the fire pit was a lot of fun and our children roasted marshmallows. Lazy driver And water rides were great and all areas were very clean.

Honestly since the restaurant is closed down, the buffet could be a lot better. $28 per person with only 5-6 options including salad is a bit much. If anything just lower the price of the buffet and I’m positive more people will sit and eat. The food court in the water park is perfect for kids not very expensive but pizza and chicken fingers get boring after a while. We found a really good Dominican restaurant called elconcon that we ordered through door dash, they delivered to hotel and the food was really good. Don’t order Pizza Hut door dash, no good.

That they offered a lot of extra amenities & activities. Plus their is food available on site.

They definitely need more staff. At the registers in the food shops and arcade there was only 1 person working. For the size of the resort, you will need 2-3. Also, there’s should be a designated activity person. A few times I called the front desk & it would just keep ringing. Also, everything closes too early. I stayed on the 4th floor & in the laundry room the dryers took a long time to dry. The vending machine also does not tell you the prices until after you make your selection and 1 of the machines was not accepting credit cards. Just small frustrations when it’s supposed to be convenient.

we loved the staff and the water Park especially the games. the kids want to come back soon. I suggest the room should have regular and decaf coffee options and also room cleaning every day. the movie times were the best

the property was far from the center of the town which made it harder to find a good restaurant to eat. the coffee shop was open until 2 and since we are coffee drinkers it was hard to have a good cup of coffee after 2. I would suggest a Starbucks or a Dunkin’ Donuts in the resort .

Good value for money for what we expected. 2 days of fund for the kids in the slides and in the water. Hotel was clean and well maintained.

Check in was really late - got our room at 1830 while official check in is at 1600 - that's way late. Also for a modern hotel I would expect to decrease the amount of plastic used for the food&beverage all around

It would have been nice for more teen activities once the water park closes. Teens have to compete with the younger children for the arcade section. And not much outdoors. The park/playground was for younger children it would have been nice for a basketball court, tennis court or something outside of cornhole. And lighting was very dim for outside area in the evening

**Our stay was in August 2022** We absolutely loved this facility! Everything was excellent and child friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff we interacted with were great! We enjoyed the Waterpark and other outdoor activities. The play ground, life size games and fire pits were extremely enjoyable. We're planning to submit a "Kartrite Done Right" video! We had a blast!

We liked the water park and the lobby. The room was new and extremely clean. There is nice view all around, and great large windows everywhere. We liked the fact there were many many lifeguards everywhere.

We didn't like the food or its price - even though it was Thanksgiving, I think that a simple buffet dinner for two should not cost $112. Also, for the price I paid for the room I expected something nicer and maybe some more shampoo, lotion etc. Almost all kids activities were for an additional, high fee Staff was not friendly or efficient enough. Did not have enough details in some cases.
