The home was a lovely old home with lots of character. The roaming sheep, goats and ducks were a plus. They are still making improvements on the property so it will be nice to visit again to see the progress. They have the sweetest cat, Bob, who’s always looking for a lap to crawl into.
Breakfast was mostly packaged cereals and muffins, apples, etc. No bacon, eggs, omelettes or oatmeal available but perhaps they will have that in the future. Not enough of an issue nor to return though.

House was so adorable! Rooms were cute. A/C is mentioned but there is no issue at all. Rooms were cool, shower great, bed comfortable. Love the open kitchen as you walk in. The rooms are well stocked with all your needs! Had breakfast on the porch. Had drinks and played cards in the evening again on the porch.
Location was fine, but a little further from New Paltz than I expected. About 20-25 minute drive to get into town. Not a big deal. There are quite a few restaurants/breweries close by. We ate at the Stonehouse Tavern and had a great meal, great service. There was a live band on the patio - but it rained the night we were there. :(

If you are tired of city hustle and bustle - you will be happy here! Breakfast was delicious! Coffee, tea and wonderful biscuits are available all day.
It would be nice to put an additional sign on the road, if possible, for easy finding of this place.

We loved the vintage decor , the linen sheets, the multiple fireplaces , the animals, It was the perfect place to stay to rest and the hike to State Park Minnewaska was STUNNING!!
The OJ in plastic bottle. I was expected fresh squeezed OJ for perfect ecology. With this , I would have given a 11/10😁

Amazing house to escape from the city. It looks gorgeous. The owner is very communicating and friendly. We love the facilities both inside and outside. We'll definitely want to come back in summer to do some hikes nearby.
