Best Western Plus Plattsburgh

Beautiful executive suites! Looks just like the photos. Beautiful 9.5’ deep pool with a shallow end, restaurant, arcade & free breakfast on property, close to stores, food & Chasm(highly recommended trip as well).

I was traveling & called to ask the staff a question about early check in or charging me for half a day… I had dropped off relatives at a local airport & needed to check in at 6am so I could sleep before my long day.. I was willing to check out of the temporary room at 11am(that’s only 4 hours) they said I couldn’t even though I was willing to pay for it & they said no rooms were available even though there were rooms available on booking… I don’t like being lied to. especially after I booked your most pricey room.

Loved the grounds, and easy access to rooms from parking lot, loved the freshly ground coffee at front desk and that the stay came with breakfast. The pool was a decent size and the family loved it.

There was this funky smell in the hallway at all times that was difficult to forget. There was no chairs for the outside of one’s room on the ground floor where swimsuits or bath towels could be hung to dry. Perhaps having a heated towel rack might be helpful.

A good value for a clean and comfortable stay with a good staff. I arrived around check in so there were a few folks ahead of me waiting to get into their rooms. The staff were efficient in getting everyone in. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant next door, or if you want to stay in Door Dash is available. There is a Maplefields on the same block for a convenient fill up, and the building is cute. It’s a good value and I’d stay there again.

The staff at this facility were truly meant to be customer service people. There was never anything we asked for that they didn’t accommodate us. The service was amazing. The people were great very professional. My sister also got a suite for her wedding party and her wedding night, and it was decorated so adorably by the staff. Cannot say enough about this hotel.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this property

Hotel really was very good...my room was very clean and neat, looks like they updated the rooms recently. Breakfast is great! plenty of everything and nicely done and coffee very good too! nice indoor pool and vending machines that take credit card. Business area if you need to use computer or print. Definitely worth the stay.

there was however a slight mustiness to the air when i keyed into the room, I noticed they sprayed an air freshener, 1st floor rooms have a door to the outside, so i aired out and was happy for the next 3 days.

Walls a little thin so you hear the conversation of the people in the room next to you. Luckily our neighbours went to sleep early so it was not an issue during night time. Toilet latch wasn’t fully functional, but by removing the lid and fixing a few things we got it to work. It wasn’t a major inconvenience.

Super clean, well maintained and nicely renovated hotel. The swimming pool was great and so was the breakfast. Complimentary cookies at front desk with tea or coffee made for a nice welcome treat. Room was well furnished and it was quiet which made for a very restful night. Enjoyed an early morning swim before breakfast and then a nice coffee on the outdoor patio before checking out.

Amazing breakfast selection but some other varieties of fresh fruit would be a nice addition instead of just red delicious apples and oranges.

Breakfast was great and close to stores

The people in the room next to us kept banging on our door during the middle of the night and screaming and laughing so loud we called the front desk to warn them, but the screaming continued until one or two in the morning. We didn’t sleep. We decided to switch hotels and we went to the quality inn and had a nice peaceful sleep with a bigger room for a cheaper price.

The location is great for shopping, they have a restaurant attached to the hotel so we never had to leave the premises. The rooms were renovated and clean. The pool area was great for family fun all day long, bonus area is the arcade section.

The only negative is the bed size could have been Queen instead of double and the bed was not firm, way too soft. Everything else was excellent

We got a suite with a jacuzzi tub. The room was huge, the tub big enough for 2, breakfast good and everyone was conscious of need to distance and sanitize. Breakfast staff was attentive and very nice. Managers were the same and were interested in comments. We were on the road for 2 wks on vacation. Only stayed 2 nights in 2 places. Plattsburgh was one of them and was definitely the nicest. We’d stayed in Holiday Inn Express’s, Marriott’s, Staybridge. This was the best. We will stay there again if in the area. It was a good place to explore Lake Champlain islands, Burlington, VT area, area around Plattsburgh.

Coffee could improve. The rest of breakfast was very good.
