Courtyard by Marriott New York JFK Airport

We stayed at this property twice. The first room was excellent, with a good range of guest amenities. For our travel requirements it was well located. The staff were excellent especially the Courtesy Transfer Coach driver George.

The second room was not so well supplied or serviced. There is a lack of consistancy in the Housekeeping service. When buying a chain, branded hotel room there is an expectancy that a standard will be maintained from property to property. But even more so in a single property. Hopefully an oversight on that day.

Courtyward by Marriot is conveniently located near the JFK airport and offers a free shuttle service to the airport every 30 minutes. The room was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities of home. Snacks and water could be purchased in the lobby and breakfast was included in the morning. The Starbucks coffee from the morning breakfast was definitely a perk. Overall, the experience left me well-rested and ready for my flight in the morning. Highly recommended for travelers.

The staff was amazing!! Every employee that we came in contact was extremely kind-front desk, breakfast, cleaning and maintenance staff. I have never been somewhere that every single employee was that way. They were all extremely kind and helpful! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as it could be. We arrived at 6:00 AM after spending the night in the airport due to a cancelled flight. Although check in wasn't until 3:00 PM, they checked to see if a room was available and let us check in early without hesitation.

Beds were small, double rather than queen. Breakfast was expensive, yet normal for a NY hotel.

We liked that they had a restaurant/bar in the lobby and the food was good. The location was perfect for a stopover before catching a flight to Portugal. The staff members were hospitable and helpful from the shuttle drivers to the front desk to the restaurant servers. The room was clean and comfortable. We recommend this to anyone who needs to be close to the airport for a stop in their journey.

Regarding the location, it didn’t have many amenities close by.

We ate breakfast and lunch here. It was a good quality. The staff was very nice including George the driver.

trying to catch the shuttle was difficult. Was told to stay where we were even though could not see the bus was told this was fine would receive call. No call. Poor signage waited wrong place for shuttle. When finally got to right place was told this happened a lot. I recommend putting some sticker s on side walk like follow to shuttle.

the shuttle waiting area at JFK is outdoors and froze my butt waiting for the shuttle. you must call for it expect 15 to 20 minute wait. The restaurant was closed order in is easy and the front desk has a page with many options. the room smelled moldy the colors are dark and not to relaxing.The convenience store has snacks some microwave meals in an emergency you are set.

this place is due for an upgrade . waiting for a shuttle outdoors at the airport in cold weather is not fun. you are in a residential area in the middle of no where, forget going out and walking a few blocks or seeing anything .

Close to JFK. Shuttle service provided is timely - runs every 30 minutes - very convenient. Staffs - all of them - are excellent. Extremely professionalism displayEd. Thank You courtyard team.

Buffet breakfast would be an added benefit.

close to JFK airport with convenient shuttle location, comfortable room, nice in house snack and misc store, did good with Covid 19 social distancing measures, great staff. Great list of order in local restaurants provided by staff.

This hotel is dated looks a little run down, waiting for a shuttle outdoors in JFK when it is 30F is not so cool, would suggest courtesy coffee at the lobby, located in the middle of nowhere , there is nowhere you can walk to have a meal or go to a nice bar.
