Hyatt Place Long Island East End

Tony made our stay extra awesome with any thing we needed he made it happen! the entire staff was friendly and helpful. The nightly events for the kids is a great addition to your stay.

Hotel was clean. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast had a wide variety of food. Room was spacious and clean. Facilities were great especially the outdoor pool. Water was clean and not overly chlorinated. Indoor pool, while a tad more chlorinated, was also a nice option. Lounge chairs were nice as were the outdoor bar and view of the river. Location was great - centrally located near the Tanger Outlets, Splish Splash water park, vineyards, and of course between the North and South forks of Long Island. Also, a nice variety of restaurants nearby. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Only negative on the area is some of the homeless in the streets. The hotel parking was across the street in a lot and they are definitely aware of travelers travelling by car. Just ensure your car is well secured with nothing stored in the car. Hotel coffee, while Starbucks, really had no taste and could have been better.

1.) Nice exercise room with dumbbells up to 50lbs, adjustable lifting bench, life cycle bike and treadmill. 2.) Indoor swimming pool, and an outdoor swimming pool. 3.) Spacious rooms 4a.) Location convenient to the Hampton's North Fork (many very good vineyards, e.g., and Bedell, fresh farm produce, Long Island Sound beaches.) 4b ) Location convenient to the Hampton's South Fork (Southampton, simply fantastic Atlantic ocean beaches, e.g., Coopers Beach, Pontquogue Beach) 5.) Close to many good restaurants, e g., Grana, Jerry and the Mermaid, Sundays on the Bay, and Edgewater.

1.)Parking is insufficient, especially on Friday and Saturday. 2.) Bar beside the pool that is run by the Seaside Grill: don't go there. The drinks are watered down AND the service is pathetic. 3.) Though the hotel staff is cordial, they do not go out of their way to help guests. You must request specific help from them, e.g., parking specifics, ice locations. 4.) If you want a microwave oven in your room, you must request it. No one will advise you of its availability to you.

Breakfast was a major plus and was really good! The fact that there was an exercise room, an indoor and outdoor pool also was a good thing, even though we did not use these facilities. Loved how the desk personnel engaged with us whenever we had questions. They took the time to direct us to places in the area.

Would have liked having a view of the boats instead of the street view. Parking lot in front of the hotel was not big enough and had to go across the street to a lot they had to park the car. The fridge in the room could have been colder for the drinks we had put in there. .

breakfast was great, even for the vegetarian in our group. liked the view of the bay. Friendly staff, clean facility.

disliked being told by some girl sitting by the entrance to the back for parking that I couldn't park in the back because of the restaurant behind the hotel being open. RUDE! And we did go and eat there, and the food was not great... I know it wasn't associated with the hotel, but it still reflected on the hotel because of the parking situation.

Staff friendly and helpful. Pool indoor and outdoor. Cleaning only upon request. Local to dining locations and aquarium next door. Breakfast included. Family friendly.Pet friendly. Owners did have their dogs on leash.

Didn't like to find sofa bed undone by previous stay. Staff did come to clean and redress when mentioned.

breakfast was great love that it was included. location was perfect, we stayed for the aquarium, love that there were no carpets in the room

tv remote was broken or batteries were dying so hard to use the tv. no housekeeping came during our stay. we ran out of towels and toilet paper immediately

The location and cleanliness of the room were perfect. I requested a room with a bathtub, and they accommodated my request. The breakfast was average. I believe you need to upgrade it a bit more in order to differentiate from other facilities.

I did not have shower-caps. The water was coming out brown when in the shower because the tubes were getting clean and they didn’t warned the hotel that is the explanation from the front desk reception said. That was pretty nasty that brown water.
