Comfort Inn Dunn near I-95

The Comfort Inn certainly isn't a luxury hotel, but it was absolutely fine for our purposes. We stayed 2 nights at the start of our trip and returned for 2 nights at the end. It's right off the exit ramp of I95; not a lot of services in the immediate location, but all the usual fast food restaurants, Walmart, etc. right down the road in Dunn. The room wasn't beautiful, but it was a good size, clean and comfortable; had a microwave and refrigerator. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The staff were all friendly. The breakfast was what you'd expect for a "breakfast included" hotel (eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, muffins, juice, coffee). I would stay there again if I have to return to the area.

The lobby decor is a little too spare; almost off-putting when you first check in. But, getting beyond that, the hotel was everything we needed for our in-transit stay.

Conveniently located right off 95! The room was clean and comfortable , it had a refrigerator and microwave. Television worked well. Beds were good..They accommodated me in a first floor room with a window to be able to look out my window at my very packed van! The staff is super nice! Bathrooms clean and stocked! Price was reasonable, book ahead tho it filled up fast. Area was very nice with plenty of food choices and gas stations. Breakfast area is clean and had plenty to offer at 6am for a quick breakfast..would stay there again while traveling!

Right off I-95 and easy to find. Perfect for an overnight stay. Breakfast area was clean, had a good layout and was well-maintained. Food was decent and had usual breakfast offerings, The staff was very accommodating and a great value fir the money.

Due to proximity to I-95 there was minimal highway noise, but much less than we expected. That is the trade-off if you don’t want to drive around looking for a hotel further away from the highway!

Polite professional employee. Check in easy. (Mostly on line).

Breakfast was a disappointment. Expectations based on the Comfort Inn we stayed at 2 weeks ago. They had eggs and bacon. Along with the traditional waffle maker and all the other stuff. Fresh fruit too. Breakfast at Dunn comparing it to the one in Jacksonville FL on Commerse was a 7 on a 10 scale. Also shaky shower curtain rod. I reported it at checkout. Earned a less then perfect score and a may not return. Good location for us but expect consistency from store to store.

Very clean and great location! The staff were so very kind and friendly and always had a genuine smile and were helpful anytime we had a question. Also, Jackie was the absolute best staff. She was kind, thoughtful, understanding, helpful, and easygoing. Oh, if you need a place to stay that offers great breakfast options, this is The Place for you. 👍🏻👍🏻

I found this hotel nice and clean. The beds aren't to my taste but they weren't bad either, I just like my bed on the soft side but they were not hard like the floor. Love that it was nice and quiet. Didn't see much options for breakfast but it's all good because I didn't pick this hotel for breakfast plus I'm on a very strict diet (what I can eat is limited for health reasons) but I don't expect the hotel to cater to me. Loved that they are dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again next time I drive up to NJ to visit family.

Great location for traveling. Good that they offer breakfast. Only thing I would suggest is that they make the bathroom have 2 switches, one for light and one for fan, because now there is just the one and you don’t want to hear that loud fan each time you turn the light on in the bathroom.

Liked the bedding. Lack of noise. Large TV.

Entrance to office was not clearly marked. Construction nearby made navigation dicey. All the food was on the next exit. Only 1 mile by interstate. Would be nice to get recommendations from staff about food and non-interstate roads to food, if such is available.

The breakfast was nice and met my expectations.

What I didn't like about the location, the entrance was not lit very well causing me to pass it on more than one occasion.

Cheap selection of good snacks. Well done. Ramen to Oreos. One dollar each. Much appreciated.

It was so hot outside so inside was kinda a damp cool in the room. Kinda damp. Not their fault.
