Comfort Inn Smithfield near I-95

Everyone was extremely nice. From front desk to housekeeping. Even the breakfast was great except for the eggs. I think they were the powdered eggs, which are not so good to me. Great price for a great location. This was my 2nd time staying there.

The bed in the room was way too firm for myself and my boyfriend’s liking. We like medium firm beds. Didn’t rest to well, but that was also due to me having a sinus issue.

Location and how nice the staff was.

The pool wasn't avaible to use it was green. Was told they were treating it when we arrived and should be able to use later in the week the water never cleared up. So with our week stay there never had chance to cool off in the 90 dregree heat of the week if we would have know would have canceled booking and got room somewhere esle.

the location was perfect. we came to Smithfield for softball games and the place was less then 10 mins from the hotel.

some of the workers weren’t friendly. they never did bring more towels even after they took ours from the room. we only had 2 towels for 4 people and we didn’t have any wash rags. the pool was dirty and cloudy. and the halls smelled of weed.

Everything was really great. I kept deactivating my room by touching it to the back of my phone. Can’t remember the guy’s name, but he was very helpful with the door key situation. It was in a really good spot also because everything was within walking distance.

The pillows! They were just a little too soft for me and my boyfriend.

The owner of the hotel as well as the staff are so friendly being I come there every other weekend. They definitely make sure if I have a problem with the room. They be up on it.

I smoke and when it rains. There really isn’t any covering in the back part being there is no smoking in front of the hotel.

Our early breakfast was not fully set up, with items not yet out. Additionally, eggs in such settings tend uniformly fairly awful, yours included. I was surprised that beyond waffles the options were limited and common. This is the one area that could be a bit better, though not bad.

The hotel was located where I wanted to stay, and the staff was extra nice. The “free” breakfast left a lot to be desired. The eggs were as hard s bricks and did not even taste like eggs! The waffle (I tried to make) stuck to the waffle maker and crumbled so badly, I had to throw it away. Someone should have placed a can of non-stick spray next to the waffle maker! The coffee was very weak—even the extra bold! I should have just brought my own grits and used the hot water for grits and made instant coffee! This was no bargain! So much construction in the area, that unless I knew where the hotel was located (which I did), I would have been riding around half the night trying to find the hotel! Then, after I had gone to bed after driving most of the day, someone checked in upstairs and was so heavy it sounded like an army was moving above my head. Same thing happened about 6:30 on Saturday morning! Not a good night!

Our room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

The breakfast started being cleaned up 15 minutes before the scheduled end time. The employee allowed us to grab what we wanted, but it felt rushed, as she was trying to get her job done. We had waited to go down for breakfast because we thought we still had time—wouldn’t have waited so long if we knew we really didn’t have the full time posted.

They were great - we had been traveling and we were able to get in our room early and rest. Then, after our meeting, we were able to spend the afternoon in the pool.

The pool bathroom did not have a light in it.
