Super 8 by Wyndham Smithfield-Selma

Great location, surrounded by MANY restaurants, shopping centers, a Movie theatre, and right off I-95 Hwy. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and smelled good. Our stay was peaceful, considering our room was straight in front of the elevator.

The pool was not working, and the Pillows were awful and needed upgrades. Be aware of the extra security deposit upon arrival for your stay. I wish this would be added to the final payment and not a surprise when you get there. Some people may not be prepared for the extra payout.

Nice, no frills hotel, near the highway, lots of nearby shopping, restaurants, gas stations. Everything was clean and newly renovated, comfortable beds. Very quiet, especially considering how near we were to traffic outside. Coffee and some basic breakfast choices in the morning was appreciated. Helpful staff. If you just need a clean bed, a hot shower, and a quiet place for the night, this place is perfect. Excellent value for the price!

There were some bright lights outside that we couldn't quite exclude with the blinds/curtains, not sure if they were property or highway lights. We were mostly too tired to care, a very minor annoyance.

The location was very nice. Close to some of the best restaurants and shopping centers in town, as well as convenient stores. Love the indoor pool, and friendly staff as well as the clean rooms.

The only thing that could be difficult, or use some extra attention, is the inability to drive around the building, and the one door at the back that wouldn't work on one side with the key card. Really have no complaints about Supper 8.😀❤️

I have stayed multiple times at this location and everything is always clean and ready when we arrive. Staff is pleasant and ready to help.

Not facilty fault and was addressed. However, there was a man in breakfast area puking in garbage can. Kinda gross. I don't know if he was a guest or what, but he was removed, and everything was cleaned and sanitized couldn't really get breakfast with that going on. 😕

The room was clean, had a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The facility is getting new carpet. Appears to be well maintained and a newer structure. Location was great for shopping at the outlet malls. Staff extremely friendly. Great place to rest for nite. Provided a free breakfast. Cost was great!

Our refrigerator had been replace with an older white one and it was not in a cabinet. I am sure it was only a temporary replacement. Could not use one back door to the parking lot but could the other.

The staff, each and everyone of them were awesome. I had a few challenges due to things out of managements control. The staff handled issues promptly and pleasantly. They truly make the difference in these Covid stressed times. The interior of the place could use some sprucing up...but all in all...the value is good and again...I cannot stress enough your front desk people are super!!!!

The value vs accomodations is pretty fair. I think the rug needs to be replaced!!! Also. Staff members of housekeeping should be more careful with the instances of hair transfer while making beds...

During this particular stay, the refrigerator did not work and people were making a lot of noise up and down the hallway all night. I called the front desk several times, but with no answer. Usually, this hotel is quiet, but not this stay.

Good location for price paid. Easy to check in. Room was fairly clean. Everything worked.

Second time I stayed at this hotel and had minor problem with key. Had to reprogram at front desk. Bathroom does not have tub handle bars. For a guy like me, 78 years old, - safety issue.

The breakfast was great and very nice kitchen. Very clean.

Their was not a lot or towels and shower curtains looked a tad bit moldy. The easy fix would be to get new ones. Their was no way for people to wash their own laundy because the staff had to use the equiptment so that they could wash all the towels over night.

Room was clean. Room amenities were good. Elevator worked well and was clean. Landscape well maintained.

I had requested first floor due to a knee injury but was put on 2nd floor. Glad you had an elevator. Front desk staff complained during the check-in: "I don't know know what day shift was doing", "I have such a headache", "I'm exhausted".... A mess in the lobby, not sure what was going on there.
