My Place Hotel-Huntersville, NC

The hotel was a perfect place for a one night stopover on our way down south. It was located in a quiet and more residential area, away from any highway noise but also not as central to restaurants etc. It is a newer hotel and that showed in the very clean condition of the room and amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel offers extended stays for guests who, we were told, are primarily on the first and second floors, so we were given a third floor room where it was supposed to be quieter. Unfortunately, we were woken up by very loud rap music at 5:30 am in the neighboring room and it didn't stop until 2 hours later.

I normally cook my own food, but I like the availability of offering breakfast to be delivered to your room. Jo jo was awesome and professional, always greeted me coming and going, always wanted to ensure that I was comfortable, and checking to see if I needed anything. She displayed acts of kindness and always showed a sense of urgency when I was in need of any services.

Nothing could have made my experience better, everything was up to my standards and expectations. Excellent Job.

Super nice staff. Very clean except as noted below. Quiet. Early check in appreciated. Easy check out. Everything super clean, bathroom especially, which is very important to me.

There was a big red stain (lipstick??) on a pillowcase that didn’t notice right away. It was dry, so not from us. I think it was just an oversight as the rest of everything was VERY clean, which is much appreciated. The mattress was good, the heavy duvet/quilt was very warm. There was, however, no top sheet so we had to sleep either with no covers, which got too cool for my partner in the middle of the night, or with the heavy duvet, which got my partner too hot. An oversight that there was no top sheet? I consider both of these “complaints” to be very small issues, nothing that would stop me from staying agan.

Location; room - full-sized refrigerator; stovetop; microwave; supplied paper towels; full-sized kitchen trash can.

That it didn't supply utensils or simple pans to use on the stovetop. Maybe they had them available, but didn't think to ask at the front desk. Had asked for an accessible room (walk-in shower), but received the regular room with the tub/shower. It was difficult for my 84 yr old husband to step over, but not impossible.

The first two days from 5 PM to 9 PM it was this short lady in the reception ,she was extremely nice and friendly very helpful and approachable! About the Propertied nice ,clean very convenient with kitchen in it! Laundry room etc etc

I’check out around 9 PM Saturday September 4. They were a lady and a gentleman and in the reception and then there was another person friend of one of the coworkers blocking the way for the Pay-guests for people that pay for the hotel I want to get a coffee (wait 4 five minutes )because he was taking his time and he was having social life with the people from the reception (hotel staff )when I handle my door key to check out he took the key no eye contact or-knowledge me (Make me feel unwelcome) Because of that I’m not coming back!

Fantastic location. 15 minutes away from CLT. Lake Norman area. Publix grocery half a mile away near shops and restaurants. A couple of miles off I 77. Room better than picture. Bed very comfortable. Full size fridge, stove top, micro, toaster full studio kitchen. Nice shower with spa head. Front desk friendly at check in, good coffee 24/7. Packaged food purchases and real dishes if you forgot something if you are there for a long stay. Already referred an executive friend of mine who travels a great deal through this area. She didn't even know about it.

very new, super clean, quiet, a little off the beaten path but not inconvenient. plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Area seemed safe as well. loved that it is pet friendly!! nice wooded areas to walk dogs. even though our room was next to the door leading outside and the stairwell, it was surprisingly quiet!

front entrance was gated off, weirdly. had to drive through a gas station parking lot to get to the unmarked back entrance.

Very clean and comfortable, beds and pillows were super clean and in good shape too. Bathroom was modest but nice and, again, very clean with good water pressure. I was so impressed to see the soapbox products and liked the neutrogena as well. Room had kitchenette and full size fridge which is perfect for keeping leftovers. Quick check-in and I was so happy to get free coffee at the front that was freshly made! They offer breakfast items you can order in advance however I drove 2 min down the street and got waffles. Despite seeing several cars in the parking lot, I never heard anyone else and only saw a couple other people besides front desk staff. We enjoyed the quiet. No regrets, glad we stayed.

Pretty parking lot, bright with trees and stones and solar light entrance- pretty grand if I do say so myself 😍. Pleasant entrance into the building, coffee station welcoming and a convenient elevator. Our room felt complete with a kitchen sink and a table too! Very Nice and Spacious. We used the back staircase to get in our exercise and the back stairs are spacious and bright. Thank you! Easily accessible, We Really Enjoyed the Renaissance Festival !!!

Walking into our room, starting with a complete kitchenette, a bright full bath, and spaciousness!! Very 'My Place' ❤ Opps i just saw the word didn't... an arrow or a sign pointing to the hotel would be nice, since there was no off highway entrance YET. And a stop light would be great by the gas station entrance- hope that helps. Add more brochures please support locals 🤟 End tables on both sides of the bed - we used a chair -that worked.

Super friendly staff, feels like home away from home. Everything super clean, the whole hotel and the rooms.

I would not say dislike but the hotel is a bit noisy. .you def can hear every guest entering and leaving their room and depends on who's next to you in the room, you can hear them as well. But nevertheless i would always come back
