This was our 2nd time staying at this resort and we enjoyed better than the first time. This time we had an ocean side unit on the third floor. Great view to enjoy my morning coffee and watch the sun rise. Unit was clean in good condition and stocked with everything you need for a week’s stay accept food. Nice outdoor pool but we didn’t use it as we went to the beach. Nice grill area with 4 grills that we did use every night. Bring your own charcoal. Being in Kill Devil Hills it puts you just about in the middle of everything. When we come back to OBX we will most definitely stay here again.

The 10:00 AM check out is a little early but that’s a small thing.

Close to the ocean

It is a timeshare hotel. When we arrived, they split our days up so that we had to move into different rooms due to it being a timeshare. I complained because there was no warning that could happen anywhere on the reservation. I would definitely watch for this and confirm your staying in one room the whole time you’re there before you come, because if you’re there for a decent amount of time you don’t want to have to keep moving rooms.

The pool and hot tub and other amenities were wonderful! I love the Whirlpool Bathtub, and the shower heads in both tubs were excellent! The furniture was comfortable, and up-to-date. We lacked nothing in kitchen utensils or appliances. There were plenty of clean bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. We were told we did not have a room with a view of the ocean, but we're very much surprised to see looking out our front windows a beautiful view of the ocean.

The kitchen water faucet was difficult to turn off. The kitchen needed new dish towels and drying towels, as ours look very used, and faded.

Comfortable, large, and clean apartment. It is near the beach and restaurants. Great parking. Friendly staff.

I didn't research enough before booking, I didn't realize we had to cross the road to the outdoor pools and the beach. Some apartments were oceanfront, but we could not see the beach or the ocean from our side of the road. It was a bit expensive being across the road.

Location was great, short walk across the parking lot to the beach (our building wasn’t one of the few on the clubhouse side). Website said ocean view but our only view was the building in front of us, but not a big deal. Facilities were great, and we were happy the pool was open in early May.

Maybe some extra signs to show you the easiest way to get to the pool, beach, or which parking lot was for which buildings. Very minor, everything was great

did not like that I had to clean unit. would rather five nice rip for housekeeping. bagging linen at end of trip and taking out trash is ridiculous bit I realize many places do this now. when I'm on vacation I do not want to do this. I place all linens that are dirty in the tub and all trash in cans. I shouldn't have to do more then that.

I loved having a front and then private back porch. Our unit had a very updated look and was very clean. I also was pleasantly surprised with the Huge whirlpool bathtub! my kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. I would definitely come back!!

We did see a large roach when we first entered the unit, and having to strip all beds and take out trash before check out was inconvenient

the large living room and super confy couches were so nice to have after long vacation activitys. the kitchen was awesome with full size appliances insted of small ones master bath had a freakin heater to warm me up on cold times ,,yessss big honkin jacuzzi tub in master and walk in shower for other bathroom was unexpected

"master" bedroom had a small bed for a room that big.. barely got 2 people on simi comfortable. simi dated color of rooms , like a 70s/80s yellow?

Location is wonderful! Right in the beach. Pool is available. We had a three bedroom unit which was plenty for 5 people. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pans.

My personal issue: pillows were horrible. Bring your own if possible. Coffee maker was acting up also, so ended up going to Starbucks

We stayed at Outer Banks Beach Clu in 2019 and were very pleased so we returned this year and had another wonderful vacation. The apartment was clean and modern with plenty of towels and amenities. Just a very short walk to the beach from our room. We highly recommend Outer Banks Beach Club.
