SpringHill Suites Lumberton

The staff went way out of their way!!! Checked out only to find we had a dead car battery. As I was attempting to get AAA out for service and replace battery, one of the staff members overheard my conversation and tapped me on my shoulder and asked if he could help in any way and also offered to jump start our car, so we could drive and get a new battery. Exceptional caring for their guests- THE MARRIOTT WAY!

Great location, right off I-95. There is alot of fast food around, which is not that great, but if you want fresh fruits and veggies or something healthier to snack on you can shoot over to the Walmart, that's less than a mile away.

Morning staff can be a tad unapproachable at times. They seem bothered by your presence at the desk. That is a bit off putting, but they do their job well.

It was very quite and enough parking spaces. The area out side around the hotel made me feel safe because of the lighting. There so much more positive things I could say but you guys are doing a great job. Everything was Beautiful and comfortable while staying at Springhill Suites.

Everything, just continue doing what you guys have been doing and everyone will love it who stay there.

The hotel was either very new or very well kept. Either way, it felt like we were the first ones to stay in a brand new room and that feeling was typical throughout the hotel. Kids loved the small indoor pool and breakfast was very nice especially in these "covid" times when hotels are cutting back on this service.

Room layout felt a little unusual with the firdge directly in front of the entry door and desk off to the side. Not sure if i liked it or not...just not the typical hotel room layout kinda caught me by surprise.

We loved the facility, the indoor pool and hot tub were the highlights for the kids. All the rooms are suits, which comes with microwave and mini fridge(always an extra bonus). The room was spacious. The location was spot on because we didn't have far to travel to our destination.

The complimentary breakfast wasn't good, poor wifi connection(we shouldn't have to pay to upgrade wifi service).

The bed light didn't work, so maint corrected it temporarily. The biggest problem was the bed receptacl on one side didn't operate correctly..This problem had to have been there and wasn't fixed. The AC unit near the window was louder than expected. The new glass shower door was not aligned properly and made a rubbing noise when you opened the door. The coffee bar was not strong or tasty for my taste buds.

Clean and Staff was super friendly. I had a 2 queen bed. The room was huge. The bathroom was huge. Even had a sitting area.

You can't circle the building completely. So, if you are pulling a uhaul trailer, like I was, I had to back up from the side of the building which has a curve in it. Was very hard for me to back up. However, staff did come out and help me.

Was the only hotel in the area that had an indoor pool and I truly enjoyed it! Was a bit small, but clean and warm. Room was nice, clean and big enough for us to invite our out of country friends to meet us for a visit before heading out....chaise lounge was a bit worse for wear......

Not much.....

The room was spacious and updated. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The hot breakfast had enough options that everyone could enjoy it. The pool area was clean.

The only issue I had was the the shower floor could have been cleaner. The floor had a large cut in the surface that appeared to have dirt in it.

Lumberton is a great place to stop outside of Conway/Myrtle Beach area. The backroads to Conway and/or the beach are dark. We always stay overnight here when driving to Coastal Carolina. The school is a short 1 1/2 hour drive the next morning. Prices are much better than trying to stay near the school or beach.
