Baymont by Wyndham Morganton

For the price, our needs, and the convenience our stay was as good as it could be. The room was super clean, the beds and pillows were super comfortable, the shower had hot water and plenty of pressure for a nice shower. We had clean linens everyday. We really liked having the mini fridge to keep our own drinks/snacks in. Overall for the money it's an excellent value. I will say the only two negative for us was the parking lot has a weird uneven raised portion for some reason, and it made driving through it a bit tricky, and how close the toilet is to the bathroom door...it's a tight fit, but again, for the low cost of the room it wouldn't discourage me from staying again. It's at a quiet end of town where there isn't a lot of traffic or loud noises, but it's close to a lot of stuff like gas, groceries, restaurants, and activities so it's a nice location.

Excellent combination of quality and price. Surprisingly worth the price and very clean. Comfortable room. There are many family-owned, local breweries in the city and nearby. Cinema theater is an option as a night activity.

The place is too from the ski resorts (Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain). The breakfast is literally first to come, first served, they said that was until 10 am but at 9:30 am they run out of muffins :( We asked for a late checkout, but there was no good communication between staff because one employee was knocking on the door and asking us to do the check out earlier than agreed.

Unexpectedly stopping due to bad weather, I was pleasantly surprised to find such economical accommodations just off the interstate! The price was right. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and staff was helpful and pleasant! Great stay and many thanks!!

Breakfast was meager with only sugared and unsugared dry cereal, milk, coffee and OJ. Sufficient but a little disappointing.

The suite was clean and spacious and a great value! It was a smooth check in and check out, and a great experience all together!

It showed a free breakfast, but there wasn’t anything when I came down at 9:30?! I’m not sure if it was past time or there just wasn’t any.

Lights everywhere outside! Felt very secure when walking to my room. Clean room, amenities were as described. Recently updated with new appliances and fresh paint.

The parking was a bit tight at the front of the motel. They had gotten rid of the pool and so that gave extra area for parking, but there was a large drop (was clearly marked) on one side. You wouldn't park in front of your room area as the space between the old pool and the spaces was very tight.

It was a very quite and peaceful stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable..I would definitely stay there again..

When I got my breakfast.. wish there would have been more to choose from.. Also the milk for the cereal wasn't good .

It was newly remodeled and they did a thorough job. It was like staying in a brand new hotel room. We felt safe and the room seemed pretty sound proof. It was very clean and the location was great. plus the price was absolutely amazing!

The outside of the hotel could use some curb appeal. It didn’t match what how nice the rooms were.

it was a very spacious room. we booked a double suite with two double beds and a sofa bed and the “sofa bed” turned out to be a big comfy king bed.

the floor in the room looked clean but really wasn’t. my kids feet were a completely different color after walking around for a bit.

Clean, comfortable room. VERY near our destination. Microwave and frig in room was a nice plus!

The breakfast was a HUGE disappointment - they only served OJ, corn flakes/milk and coffee. But that didn't affect the clean and comfortable room. Soap was VERY small.

The price was fantastic and the room was clean. Thank you.

Breakfast maybe. But given the price of my stay, I can get my own breakfast. The coffee was good.
