Comfort Inn Marion near Downtown & Blue Ridge PKWY

The motel is in a good location for people traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's a quick trip off the parkway to Marion and the hotel. It is pet friendly, very clean, and the rooms are comfortable.

It was a bit confusing to get to. You have to go through another businesses parking lot to get to the motel. Probably easily done during the day but a night it was a little hard to find the entrance.

The breakfast was great - there were plenty of options - both hot & cold foods & drinks. I was especially happy that there were scrambled eggs & bacon because I try to limit my intake of carbs. The food bar was kept clean & freshly stocked.

There were no issues. We were there during a snowstorm so there was limited staff available. We were informed to let the staff know if we needed room service, but we didn't - and everyone was very kind and helpful. We actually had a very cozy stay - enjoyed watching the Floridians playing in the snow! :)

In the bathroom shower the water pressure was not enough in the water was not too hot. You do not have a TV guy paper on the desk before we can see where all the channel was on TV

The hotel and room were quite nice, very clean and quiet. There was a walking trail nearby. They had an indoor pool but I wasn’t able to make use of it.

While not the hotel’s fault, the area isn’t very pedestrian friendly. Other than the walking trail, you take your life in your hands if you want to walk to the nearby grocery store.

The location was perfect for my purposes. The room was comfortable and was equipped with the amenities I expected. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The television arrangement was rather odd. There was no printed list of available channels nor was there a complete listing on screen. Just as a matter of aesthetics some of the doors and furniture were scuffed that demised the feeling of being in a quality environment. Breakfast was disappointing.

The location was good. Rooms was clean and decent size. Staff was very friendly and helpful. (Minus 1 lady). Pool was nice. The breakfast was really good.

There was 1 lady that wasn't to friendly. The beds was a little harder than I like. And the water pressure wasn't the greatest.

Great location; super friendly staff

Pool was closed for 2 days due to inspections which I understand but not my grandson. I think it should have been told at check-in. Breakfast was good but only coffee to drink - no type of juice or cold water. I was told the juice was on the way but didn’t have any for the 3 mornings we were there.

Breakfast was good. Good location. Comfortable and clean rooms.

Front desk clerk was new and told me that booking.com had already charged me for the rooms. We wanted to pay separately for the two rooms. The next morning we got our statements under our doors showing that the hotel had charged me for both rooms.

The grounds were clean. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable! the breakfast smelled delicious- unfortunately, we did not have enough time to partake. the only drawback- I thought the rates were a little high for the area.

Room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very professional and accommodating.

My only real concern was the noise from the parking lot outside of my window. There were a lot of people using the lot as a party area and it was a minor annoyance. One other very small note ... the Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits which were put out for breakfast really weren't very good. On the other hand, the blueberry muffins were terrific.
