Quality Inn Morganton

Hotel’s King/Non Smoking Room #101 met our expectations being very clean, and bed very comfy! A full breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, bagels, cereals, waffles too with delicious fresh coffee, and fruit drinks included in the price! Also enjoyed the pool area, very relaxing! Staff very courteous and very friendly! Coffee available at all times too!

Hotel’s property grass areas were overgrown.

Our room was very clean, plenty of towels, and lots of water pressure made for a good shower!

It’s nothing major but the lighting was poor in our room. One of the reading lights attached to the bed didn’t work and there just wasn’t enough light by the sink. There was an ironing board but no iron. Happy to have a hair dryer but it was a low power model. And whoever painted the 2’ x 2’ square area in the bathroom got paint all over the vent, the towel rack and the tile. Very poor workmanship that could have been done better by removing the vent cover and towel rack to begin with. Also didn’t see any evidence of a breakfast option, which I believe was advertised, but if it was available, it wasn’t offered when I checked out. Other hotels we’ve stayed in recently offered a to-go option.

A little apprehensive when I pulled up, due to exterior appearance and some of the characters milling about at adjacent motels (didn't notice any shady people at THIS motel; weird? Well, maybe). However, the room was great - far beyond what one usually experiences at a motel in this price range. Seemed to have been recently renovated. Very clean and comfy, from the desk chair, TV placement, lounger, to the quality of the bathroom towels. I travel fairly frequently and stay at motels when I do - I would definitely stay at this one again.

Staff could be friendlier. Internet wasn't the greatest. Business center very basic.

Pool was nice Left a necklace at the pool and it was found and returned by staff. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Bathroom area with toliet and shower was small. If you didn't close door before you started to go the bathroom the mirror on the door gave you a great look at yourself using the toliet.

good price at $65 a night, sheets clean , clean towels, breakfast okay

refrigerator was barely cool, our food spoiled. there was no bacon for breakfast as seen in pictures from previous gusts. bed very soft, but some like that.

Nice large comfortable room, good bed, friendly and helpful staff. Nice bedding and plenty of pillows.

The mini fridge door was difficult to open because you had to drag it against the carpet. Trucks parked at the side of the building where our room was and it was noisy.

The Ice maschine was broken. The refrigerator in our room had 3 inches of ice on it and could not use . The hair dryer was broken. The breakfast was not as advertised. Walk was to and from the parking were dingy and dirty.

Bfast was pretty good, would like healthy faire options-staff especially the mgr Rob Hullette was so helpful positive and professional

in our room one of the faucet handles came off- we noted to mgr so yall could fix

The pool was nice and clean. Staff very friendly..Room was a good size beds were ok.

The breakfast was slack. Coffee cups really small. Sausage links and scrambled eggs was only hot stuff on bar.

Great breakfast for a good price. The room was very comfortable and I didn't hear a lot of loud people so sleep was good. I also liked parking right by my room so no schleping bags down long hallways or up stairs.
