Red Roof Inn Roanoke Rapids

Bed was clean and comfy. Staff was very nice, especially the young lady who went out of her way to find my husband's glasses that he left behind so we could return to pick them up. Continental breakfast was simple but adequate and very nice.

Bedspread had stains. Bedside clock shorted out and sparked when I touched it. Location is confusing to access. You have to go through a fast food parking lot to get to it. My biggest complaint was that the entire place had an odd odor which smelled like marijuana and cigarettes.

Easy access to shops/Plaza like Walmart is walking distance there are many options on place to eat and close to the highway. The room was clean very well. The lobby was super clean new like. The night staff that check me in you can tell she was tired but she was still sweet and polite. My kids like the cereal and little donuts they had for the complimentary breakfast. Will stay again

The room can use update more so the bathroom can use an update

Location was perfect right off I-95 with lots of restaurants, gas stations & shopping right there. Hotel was clean & served its purpose for an overnight stay. Recommend for a quick overnight stay - can’t beat the price

Lobby could be more welcoming, staff at front desk were pleasant, no breakfast included. Room was very small but served it’s purpose. No safe, small pocket size pack of tissues, refrigerator smelled, bathroom clean but not fresh smelling. Didn’t appreciate the fire alarm going off at 1 AM - so loud & ear piercing but not the hotel’s fault. Owner arrived rather quickly to shut it off.

Room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a one night stop. Very good WiFi as well. Great value....under $100 for the night

Not much of a breakfast, but plenty of choices within a 1/4 mile of the hotel. If you have heavy bags, specify a room on the first floor. As with most smaller Red Roof Inns, no elevator.

The price, clean room, comfortable bed, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in room, very close to I-95 and no extra charge for our dog.

We liked everything...we've stayed at a lot of other hotels that were twice the price per night that were awful - we were pleasantly surprised by this property.

pets stay free (the reason I booked here over the large selection of other hotels nearby), good rate, right off the highway with lots of nearby food options, decently clean for the price, and nice staff

bed was not the most comfortable, breakfast was very very basic (cereal, yogurt, muffins/bars, that’s it).

Sleep was comfortably and it was quiet. AC WORKED VERY WELL. Water in shower was nice and hot nice pressure loved it. Front desk staff that checked my in the first day was very nice and smiled a lot and came to spray out room after i called at front desk to complain about room smelled like smoke.

hot water in coffee pot wasn't hot, for what you're paying for rooms they could serve some kind of complimentary breakfast. Bathroom needed trash can in it, it didn't have one in it. Room door was hard to open at times. When i checked in room it smelled like smoke and i didn't ask for a smoking room that should've been notice by the cleaning person. And when i checked back into the room they put the comforter that was on my bed on the other bed and how i know the one on my bed had a cigarette burn hole in it.

Room was clean, ice machine works good, pool isn’t ready though and I haven’t seen them serve eggs, meat and waffles down in the dining room area.

Pool isn’t done, they haven’t serves eggs, meat, toast, or waffles yet and hasn’t been any milk barely. I’ve been here for 3 weeks already

I haven't stayed at a Red Roof Inn in years after a few bad experiences. We only stayed here because we were tired and they had rooms available. It was a good decision. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast, while basic, was much more than I expected.

WiFi was not good

Comfortable bed, clean room, staff very willing to assist with any questions or concerns.

The entrance into the hotel parking lot wasn’t easy to to find.
