Best Western Emporia

The location and the ease of registration with the desk staff. I stayed several nights while visiting family in Richmond, Norfolk and North Carolina and my end of the day was at Best Western...Quiet and accommodating, close to all stores and restaurants and a nice car was across the street.

As a military Vet, I did not see a American Flag Outside on the Flagpole and the entry to the elevators on the floor could be addressed. They are beginning tater and a fresh linoleum clean floor is a welcome appeal going to your room. Country Inn and no flag?

it was fine. I sm not a breakfast person but coffee and a bagel was fine but when you go to a Best Western on the way down and get full hot breakfast, your set up seemed a littke sparse. I am not complaining but you asked me. Lobby area is very nice

Thought the property itself seened a little run down. Rooms were very basic and need some updating, but was clean which means more to me.

Breakfast was okay. Rooms were clean.

It would have been nice to have fresh fruit and hot items for breakfast. Bottom sheet on bed did not smell fresh. I should have just asked for a new sheet but didn't want to bother since we got there late in the evening. It had a cigarette odor to it. Our key cards wouldn't work the next morning so had to have the lady at the desk redo in the system.

The location is in a good area

I didn’t like that it always seem to be a problem with something my first stay the toilet didn’t flush without u having to hold the handle the second stay was good but the water in the shower did not go down as you shower and this stay the water in the sink didn’t go down but other than everything was ok

The water in my room when I took a shower the water didn’t go down i absolutely didn’t like that also I didn’t see the do not disturb signs either time I stayed the company should most definitely invest in those unless the workers aren’t leaving them in the rooms

Convenient location right off I95, close to gas station and convenience store. Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, room was clean. The place is dated so I was surprised the price was so high but it sufficed for a quick stay on a long drive.

It was quiet. It was clean.

I don't know whether they shampoo the floor and it was wet or if the freezer was leaking but the floor was wet the whole time in there. I came home sick. Did enjoy my trip there my stay there was nice.
