Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem Medical Ctr Area

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had been renovated and the shower was great. The room and public areas of the hotel were very clean. The location is near restaurants and Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

The hotel is in the process of being renovated. The room we had was in the middle of the renovation. The bed was new but the other furniture was not. There was not a place to hang clothes because that part of the renovation had not been completed. The desk clerk offered a rack for clothes but we were just there one night. There are signs posted about the renovation.

Very nice hotel, great service, clean, great breakfast selection.

My only complaint was the very noisy neighbors, but that really isn't the hotels fault. I'm pretty sure they were drunk and kept fooling with the ajoining room door and just very loud. Unfortunately, by them fooling with the door, they scared my nine year old pretty badly at one point and she needed her rest for all day testing at the medical center the following day.

The facility was clean, beautiful, and convenient to a hospital, restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The heat/ac was hard to control. No matter what we adjusted the temp to, it was either extremely cold or extremely hot. Not a lot of places to hang towels for a family. Wish breakfast started at 6 instead of 7.

The staff is so polite personable and avvimafating. Especially who I am assuming is the manager. I didn’t get his name. He is anyways dressed professionally. Ie biw tie and makes you feel so special. I will be coming back and have told my veterans group about the facility since our post is across the street Thank you

In COVID times you don't expect much and it lived up to it. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit that was edible but just. I understand why pre-prepared food is necessary so I'm not knocking it too much. Coffee was good.

There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Even in COVID times, why was there no bar of hand soap on the sink? One had to reach into the shower for a pump of shower gel in order to wash hands after using the toilet. REally??? There was, instead. eye makeup remover and "conditioner" of some sort on the counter? Hair conditioner? Skin conditioner? Air conditioner?? There was no indication on the container what use it was meant for. Also, no area for hanging clothes??? What????? Nothing. But there were two refrigerators?

I liked the free breakfast however the tables were all wobbley and need work.

Some of the staff didn't smile. Not enough towels in the room. There were 4 of us and we were only given 3 towels.

The staff did amazingly well managing the crowd there to check in before the Paul McCartney show. Summer and the guys working with her were great. Miranda on the night shift was amazingly friendly and helped my kids find something to get from the hotel after their Doordash canceled at 2am! Great people working at this hotel!

The hotel was perfect! Everyone was very nice and professional. Very clean.

That Booking.com charged me $50 more for the room than the actual hotel price. They have yet to correct it even after talking to them several times.

Hotel was great. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We only stayed for one night but we were thinking it would be great to come back and spend some more time in the area and this is the hotel to book!

No problems whatsoever

The hotel was in a perfect location: across the street from Wake Forest Baptist Hospital and also in a convenient spot near Panera & a few stores. We loved our bathroom; it was updated with a beautiful shower (large white tiles, heavy sliding doors, etc).

The overall interior decor seemed outdated and in need of touch ups practically everywhere (wallpaper tears especially near the floor and on corners, etc).
