Candlewood Suites Carrollton, an IHG Hotel

If you’re someone with a sensitive back that needs a firm mattress, this is not the spot for you, my friend. For others, I think it would’ve felt very comfortable. Staff was friendly, accommodations appeared clean, and there were several dining options; and a Dollar General Market across the street. I was pleasantly surprised by the farmer’s market across the street Saturday morning. Overall, a good stay aside from my picky spine.

Far from major highways as a road-tripper who just needed a place to crash. I chose it for the price (~$90 the week of Independence Day). Fast food is a majority of the food options if you’re health conscious. Again, the bed was not firm and not great for me and my needs.

The room was very nice and open..we only had to spend the night bc of a volleyball tournament. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast included. Also, my daughter showered, the my husband and then me. I could not turn the knob to shut it off, my husband tried but the water did not turn off. We own our own construction business so he went and grabbed a tool kit and was able to take it apart to try and shut the water off. But still couldn’t, so I called the front desk to tell her and I was taking fast bc we needed to leave and that the shower was still running etc and she said that I needed to stop and I should not be testy. I explained I was not testy I was just concerned about what would happen and if they could get a plumber out so no damage. She said he was an hour away. We had to leave so not sure what happened but was surprised that the I was even spoken to like that on that type of situation. Very rude!!

We liked the property. It was well maintained and had a nice appearance. Very clean.

I suggest adding some lamps with usb ports. And the air in our room would only come on if it was set on 70, but then it wouldn’t turn off and we’d wake up freezing. On 71 it wouldn’t come on at all and we’d wake up hot.

The room was a nice size. It wasn't fancy, but it was modern and clean. The price was decent.

The floors are a little thin. We heard the person above us stomping around all night. And it would be nice if breakfast was on offer, but because it is an extended stay facility, they figure you're going to take care of breakfast yourself.

Upon arrival at the front desk, we found the staff was friendly. After a ten hour trip, we slept soundly because of the comfortable bed.Very clean facility and was located in a quiet area and within minutes of venue.

No breakfast was provided at this facility. Not a show stopper.

Room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly well equipped (full size fridge, stove top, microwave, dishes/utensils, dishwasher etc). A great value for the price!

The only negative thing I can think of is that the fridge was really loud, even with the ice maker off. But after a while it just becomes background noise and you get used to it.

We were pleased with the cleanliness and facility of the room. Comfortable for our dogs and easy access.

Noise , early riser construction workers. 4:00am wake up. Not the best rest.

Pet friendly !!! The room was very clean!

I hope that they have Saran wraps and tinfoils at their shop because the room has the kitchen. I had to go to shop to get them.

The size and layout of the suite was great--like a small apartment. The kitchenette included a full-size refrigerator, a small sink and stove, a dishwasher, and cabinetry (including a pantry)! It even had a sizeable peninsula for the eating area. Furniture was modern, and the suite was clean. The bed was very comfortable.

Not what I expected for the cheap rate we paid, never stay here before and when we walked in the room was clean and comfortable and nice and staff was so helpful, would stay again when we come that way thank you
