Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alliance, an IHG Hotel

I was looking forward to doing the breakfast, but I get shy and have anxiety in public places. So I didn't go. I enjoyed my stay and the lady at the desk was very kind. I enjoyed that I was able to easily check-in and out. Even though I wish I didn't have to sign papers when arriving. Would be nice if that's something more advance like to be done online or through email so when walking in with your bags, you don't have to lay them on the floor. Sometimes you just wanna get your keys and go straight to your room esp. during this pandemic. I decided to stay here because I wanted a night out of the house. Kids were at the babysitter's, had no chores to do around the house, and just wanted an evening of peace. That I did receive.

The room was nice but there were a few little things like the exterior and a few things that could improve or upgrade. There was a crack in the wall. the knob was hard to press down to flush the toilet, the shower had two heads but definitely couldn't figure out how to turn on the second one or to change the pressure of the showerhead. and the heads were loose at the top so the water was coming out and shouldn't be. The tv was small. how the jets in the jacuzzi was positioned. Would be nice where you lay your back against having those jets there. the point of the jets is the pressure is supposed to feel similar to a massage. but they do not.. But those things didn't interfere with my purpose of staying but would be a huge improvement.

Christina at the reception was very personable. Responded well. The gentleman doing the breakfast was personable and interacted. Whirlpool and pool was accidentally labeled closed, they responded and opened it.

Whirlpool was cool in the morning. Did have some Midnight arrivals that sounded like a circus, but that's not Hotel's fault. They may have said something - it ended quickly and all at once.

The staff was very friendly, the hotel room was updated and clean, and the breakfast was fantastic!

They are still renovating parts of the hotel, so there are building materials stored in stairwells and the pool area, so the pool was closed.

The cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Plus, it was not too far of a drive to the event that I was attending. There were plenty of restaurants in the vicinity that gave a variety of options.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the room was so comfortable that we did not wake up in time enough to enjoy a nice breakfast before we hit the road.

Did not eat breakfast. Nice property. Great location. Nice, helpful staff.

Handicapped shower forced water all over bathroom floor. Handicapped me had to mop it up. Hotel said they would get it fixed.

not enough towels/washcloths for 2 stays, buffet was good but tables should be washed after use, messy tables are not following guidelines for covid, high price,

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great! Great staff as well.

The bathroom is showing its age. Could certainly use a facelift.

The breakfast was very minimal so we ate else where and the pool area was closed but everything else was great.

I felt safe and comfortable

I asked for a room with a hot tub and it said online i was requesting one. When i arrived the lady advised they gave my room away and i would have to settle for a basic room. The whole reason i traveled was to get a room with a hot tub.
