Comfort Suites Dayton-Wright Patterson

Very well located to visit the USAF Museum, good breakfast and accomodation, easy to reach and access the museum, would come back if coming for the museum again. We used also the sofa bed and it was pretty comfortable.

Room could have a refresh but for an overnight it was perfect fine. Hotel elevator broke the next day morning, apparently the only elevator in the property. We had to manage to use the stairs, not a big deal since we were on the 1st floor, not staff's fault and the technician already working on it on the first hours of the morning, but hotel could have another one to serve as a backup though.

There was a nice selection of food. Typical continental breakfast. Cereal, orange juice, eggs, sausage, biscuits, fruit, self serve waffles etc... Everything was at least on par with what you would get at McDonalds or the like for breakfast. The biscuits, egg's and sausage links tasted great. The water was nice and hot and air was nice and cold! The pillows where fantastic I brought my own but did not use it! Large spacious bathroom. The price was fantastic. I liked that staff where often cleaning, mopping, and friendly! I loved the amount of lamps and lights in the rooms and the number of electrical sockets. The rooms where very spacious! The prices were great and I was super happy with the room! I have paid a lot more for a lot less!

You can always nitpick but everything was clean. The carpets where a little dingy looking but it was clean.That is me looking for something negative to write. I do whish the curtains on the windows kept the light out better the room get's bright once the sun comes up which makes it hard to sleep. The curtains that actual close where white and thin. I am not a coffee drinker I am a tea drinker I wish there was a better way to get hot water than the tiny coffee maker or the tiny microwave. THe hot water in the breakfast area was fantastically hot but I did not have that in my room.

Left too early for breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was prompt about correcting TV problem

Couldn't get tv remote to work.....staff had to bring out a box from behind tv stand to program it to make remote work. They said they put new carpeting day before, and could have misplaced whatever component they really needed to make it work correctly.....I felt that the tv SHOULD have been checked before allowing anyone in the room if that was the case. The one ac unit worked ok, but the other one didn't do a thing...that was ok, as the one unit cooled down room ok.

Not too far from downtown, definitely a better value than staying downtown. The breakfast was clean and well stocked.

There was a large gap under the door, I could nearly fit my whole hand through it. Though I don't plan the property, there was evidence of a recent remodel and I think the contractors went cheep on the doors. Largest complaint was the pool, it was very small, to the point it felt more like a child's pool then anything.

The attention of Phil the night manager was extraordinary, he helped us explaining details of the National Air Force Museum, cleaned the bathroom that housekeeping staff forgot and he received all the shipments from Amazon that arrived at the hotel. The best part of our stay was how attentive Phil was.

The housekeeping specially at bathroom. The trash can was used when we arrived to the room. Even the WC was dirty. The towels was with another people hair. The only problem at the hotel was the housekeeping staff.

The gentleman at the desk was super helpful. Check in was easy. The room exceeded our expectations for Comfort Inn. The price was high because of events in town that had area hotels at capacity. We would not have paid that much for a room except for the fact that we had already purchased tickets to a show at the Schuster Center (which, by the way is a first class facility). The hotel, rooms and lobby and hallways, were clean. The hotel was quiet.

Again, price was high for a Comfort Inn, but we understand why.

The staff was super nice and the rooms were clean. They were obviously working hard to update while ensuring that the guests were at no time bothered or inconvenienced. Staff gave helpful information about how to avid traffic and the fastest/ easiest routes to take to different areas.

A huge leap in comfort from the last hotel, in another city, during this trip. Clean, bright and fresh smelling. Actually got fresh towels daily, an amenity forgotten in the pandemic. Hot water, quick draining and the bath allows illumination OR ventilation so the roaring vent doesn’t disrupt life.

There was a constant warbling noise, such as a vacuum cleaner in the background. The elevator had the smell of ozone from an electric motor

Breakfast was fine. There were lots of choices and it was nice to have hot items. The last hotel we stayed in had very limited choices and nothing hot. Everything was kept full and clean. I really enjoyed the cinnamon roll waffles. The room was completely serviced by housekeeping every day and it was nice and clean.

Nothing!

The STAFF! Everyone working there went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We brought our bikes, they showed us exactly how to enter the trails. We needed a bottle opener, no problem and then they offered information on local businesses we might enjoy.
