Hampton Inn Dayton/Huber Heights

Friendly staff, clean, good price.

There’s construction on the corner intersection to enter the property with very poor traffic signals making it very difficult and dangerous to turn into the hotel property. Once I finally got to the hotel I didn’t want to leave again due to the congestion and high chance of accidents.

Beds were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good. Amazed how sound proof walls were. I was nervous being next to elevator but never heard it or the busy highway.

No hot tub :( and couldn't sit outside on patio from pool area- door was locked which is scary in case of fire. The lighting in the room was lacking. There needs to be more and some by mirrors. For people getting ready for weddings and such

Spacious room, clean. Comfortable beds and crisp, clean bedding. Great location a short drive to Air Force Museum. Great restaurants to walk to. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast to get you going in the morning. I love this hotel and will stay here again.

Only a light cover on the bed. My husband would prefer a comforter. I was fine.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are good. Beds are comfortable. Pool looked decent but I had no time to use it.

I asked if we could check out 30 minutes late and the woman at the front desk made a sour face and said I would have to ask the head of housekeeping. She didn't offer to get her for me until I asked if she was available.. The head of housekeeping was very nice and of course honored the request. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and never had such a response. Also, the breakfast was ok but I have had better at other Hamptons. The faucet in the bathroom is oddly placed too close to the sink.

room was very nice and loved the walk in shower.

pool could have used a good cleaning but it was ok. used the pull out couch for my grandson and there was food all under the couch. I did tell the staff and they took care of it. the floor in the breakfast area was very sticky.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast options were decent. Room was quiet.

The room could’ve been cleaner. The top of the shower had old dried shampoo residue. The bars underneath the sink had water spots and were dusty. The floor was black when we wiped up some spilled water. The sink is awful to successfully wash your hands and not get water everywhere, poor design with the placement of the faucet. The lighting could be a lot better in the room as well, very dim with no overhead light.

Breakfast was good by pandemic standards. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable with enough plugs where you needed them. It offered a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for those like us who picnic in the room while travelling. The location was easy to find , with multiple gas stations, store, and restaurants nearby.This place measures up to the standards one expects from Hampton INNs.

I found no fault of any kind ion this Hampton INN.

The second night was better as there wasn't anyone noisy next door and morning crew gave us new keys that worked.

When I called at night for help with neighbors banging loudly on walls, it did not stop. I was offered another room, but we weren't in the wrong it should have been the other room that was made to leave as we were settled in, and had a child sleeping, how, I don't know. Also we went through many keys to our room that night because the cards were not working. Breakfast was horrible. Kids don't eat boiled eggs and yogurt, I don't eat boiled eggs and yogurt, yuck!

The entire property felt clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the room was plenty big for the three of us.

Nothing! We will be staying here every year when we visit Dayton.

Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff were so polite. And very helpful.

The air conditioner makes a horrible rattle noise when it kicks on.
