Microtel Inn and Suites North Canton

The price was great for the value. Staff was very accommodating. I booked 3 rooms and was late to the hotel and they let my family into the rooms early which was awesome bc they are disabled. They also put our rooms together which was a very accommodating thing that they did not have to do. Check in was easy. Location was near restaurants and shopping right off the highway. Rooms seemed freshly painted.The gem shop across the street is awesome.

There was no TV bc the power had went out earlier. My room needed some cleaning. The bathroom was spotless though.. The other 2 rooms were fine so maybe it was just overlooked. I told the staff my concerns when they asked about the rooms and when we came back from dinner it was clean and tidy.

I booked the super saver room as I just needed a bed and a roof. I called the hotel and asked for early check in, I was offered a yes for a fee (completely acceptable amount). When I checked in, not only did they find my online reservation right away, as most properties do not, but I was upgraded at no charge to a very nice room with amazing amenities! The room was above and beyond what I could have asked for at the price I paid. The staff was very friendly and attentive, but offered suggested solutions when my Grubhub order was not delivered or delivered incorrectly…. All-in-all, I will recommend this location to everyone I talk to! I know that every time I come to this area as I live irecommend this location to everyone I talk to! I know that every time I come to this area, I’m visiting my family from Florida, I will book this location, because no matter the cost of that room, which I don’t know, it will be well worth it!

There isn’t anything about this location that I disliked from the outside to the inside to the check-in process to the friendliness of the owner and the staff. Everything was absolutely perfect! The only difference would be if the owner would allow me to clean up my own coffee mess instead of him doing it for me….

The breakfast was adequate; I particularly enjoyed making my own waffles. The juices were a bit skimpy on substance, especially the OJ - too watery. Activia might be good for people who need to "keep things moving along," but I do not have this problem so I must avoid it. It was a shame that there were no other yogurt options (BTW, I always read the ingredients before choosing a yogurt - anything with glucose-fructose syrup is a non-starter). But I am a realist - the price for the room was too my liking and I did not have high expectations for the breakfast, so I brought along my own berries just in case. The high quality of the room more than made up for the breakfast.

Close to I-77. I liked the layout of the room. The kitchenette with small fridge (no small freezer section that would have been helpful) microwave, coffee maker and a sofa in in the front room, bedroom behind.

Running parallel to I-77, there was quite a bit of road noise all night long. The only hot item for breakfast is a waffle maker. No eggs or meats. Mostly all of the food choices had added sugar and highly processed white flour so they were not healthy choices, so we only had coffee.

I would like to commend the young lady who works the front desk. She is gracious and professional and accommodating. I left a laptop computer by mistake, and housekeeping turned it in, and I was quickly contacted. They also asked for my identification when I picked it up to make sure they were returning it to the correct person. We stayed there again on our way back home. Accommodations are excellent for the price.

The staff was so helpful and cheerful. You can tell the staff work very hard and the facilities are well kept. The location is great.... Near shopping (nearly across from the mall), restaurants and attractions. We got to the Pro Football HOF in about 15/20 minutes. We also went to Sluggers and Putters twice during our trip and it was about 10/15 minutes down the road. We also liked that there were so many electrical outlets.

The pillows were small. Breakfast could offer some kind of protein. Lots of carbs.

Great location, close to malls, stores, & restaurants. Nice staff. Clean & fresh smelling. Hot water & soft towels. Comfy bed. Room smelled fresh. Air conditioner ran quietly. Traveled without my husband & felt comfortable leaving & returning late at night by myself. They offered breakfast, but I was never awake to go down to eat.

Need new pillows. My room was facing the highway & at night I was awaken many times because you can hear the semi's on the highway.

The 29th at 3AM a group was leaving the were so rude and loud. They were hollering back and fourth, not caring about others sleeping or trying to sleep. This was the only complaint in the three times we stayed over 4 days each. Also the shower flooded in the handy cap bathroom.

The breakfast was excellent and our host was very kind, friendly and helpful.

Everything was great…when we arrived, many people were arriving at the same time but the staff was calm and collected and showed respect and hospitality to each family…it must have been very stressful for them to have been hit all at once with that many people…:) That impressed me so much!

I have been staying here for over twenty years when I visit the area. This was a very good stay, the management and cleaning staff were very friendly and efficient. I found the property to be well maintained and very clean. I stay in many more expensive hotels, the value for the cost of the room is exceptional. I will be staying there again in the spring and would recommend this hotel.
