Comfort Inn & Suites South Akron

We do a lot of traveling and the facility was clean. it was comfortable it was located and the perfect area off of the main road. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating and the food was delicious with a nice selection. The lady that was in the kitchen area make sure everything was clean and everything was stocked The gym and the pool area were very nice and clean. I love the fact that check out was at noon That allowed us more time to get some rest before getting back on the road. We definitely will be Making this our main place to On our weekend and get away's

We arrived much later than planned. I was dehydrated and hungry. It was too late to go out to eat. We checked in and the front desk check-in clerk was smiling, welcoming, and gave us bottled water, a granola bar and some chips. Seriously! How did she know?! I so appreciated the extra effort and kindness. She also gave us a room which was very quiet.

This hotel is themed to meet the needs of business travelers. The décor is has a business feel, which I am sure is great for business folk passing through. It was acceptable for us, as we were just staying one night.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. They had a good breakfast selection and the ladies running the breakfast cared about the guests. They greeted you with "good morning" kept the area clean and replenished food as needed. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. We'd stay again when in the area.

The only downside, there was a used bar of soap and an opened, used shampoo container in the shower.

Breakfast had a good variety of food and was goid. Staff were very helpful as myself and wife both use walkers. Helped us to table with food and to trash can when we were finished. Desk clrks were friendly and courteous.

The only problem was getting maids to take out trash even after asking 2 day in a row. Never got empty and cans were over flowing with trash.

Good variety , building located near a favorite restaurant too. The decor was cheerfull. Good parking. Clean lobby and rooms, nice but small pool, wish there was a jacuzzi. I really liked that the rooms bathroom had a venting fan. and hair dryer.

The refrigerator had a loud like hum as if someone was snoring and it was hard to sleep for me because I am not used to any electronic " I guess what some people call -Background noise". I would have to say if I wasn't feeling well, the geometrical loud pattern decor, might have been nausiating.

Wonderful staff when we checked in very late and exhausted, beds and pillows were extremely comfortable (I love soft squishy pillows). The shower was great. The carpets in the hallways were new, everything was very clean. Breakfast was great and again the staff was wonderful

... "Outside of offering a "hot breakfast" (compared to other hotels that either do not offer anything or just provide the occasional danish I could buy at the nearest gas station); everything is pleasant here!"

... Peaceful and suited for a relaxing stay. The pool is still closed (Covid-19 protocol "clearance"); however the gym is open 24 hours. Each morning offers a complete "hot" breakfast; as well as coffee to take "on-the-go". It's close to all major restaurants, shopping, and close to the interstate and airport. Overall; excellent with pricing, amenities, and level of hospitality.

The entire staff from the front desk to the breakfast crew to housekeeping were super friendly and extremely polite and helpful.

The heater in our room worked sometimes and at other times it did not. The first night of our stay were we cold but the second night the room was warm. it was a bit squeaky as well but we did not bring it to the attention of any staff members.

the room was nice and spacious.

I never received my deposit fee back and it’s almost been a month now. they haven’t done anything to help either, it’s stuck in a “pending” state and they’re telling me I need a checkout email which I never received either.

Housekeeping was excellent anything I needed they were more than happy to accommodate, and very polite and friendly.

Not really thrilled to not receive an invoice knowing what was charged to my card or why the amount withdrawn is higher than what my email said it would be. I also asked for two rooms beside each other, thank God my kids are not small, because my room was at one end of the hall and theirs was at the other.
