Courtyard by Marriott Canton

We had a king bed and the top sheet was barely wide enough to cover the bed ! The mattress was awesome though !

The bed was very comfortable, the room was a decent size. The hotel staff were very nice and welcoming. It could use a little updating on the outside, but the inside is all updated. The room was a little chilly, but we were able to regulate it eventually with the thermostat in the room.

We could have used a microwave.

The staff was very very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very nice and comfortable and clean and the beds .the breakfast was very good and my daughter loved the French toast and the lady working the breakfast bistro was very nice .The value for the price was not bad at all. We will definitely be staying again .

There wasn't anything we didn't like .

Just getting away from stress, work, roomie .. was perfect 🥰

Apparently the room had a connecting door to another room .. no issues except I could hear them, like it wasn't totally private .. should be a little more insulation between the 2 rooms if not same group is using the 2 rooms.

Without a breakfast provided, I did like the option of buying breakfast and also having Starbucks available.

The peeling wallpaper in my room and strange, haphazard ceiling patchwork from a previous leak or something.

Rooms were clean. the front lobby area was set up with games and tv. pool table as well. it was a perfect hang out spot for our family, between dips in the pool. staff was so kind and friendly!!!!

dog friendly, very clean, nice staff and great location.

If you check in with a dog I wish they had a room without carpet, although our dog did great and had no accidents it would be nice to not have worried about her having an accident on carpet.

The pool area was large. Beds were comfortable. Interior of the building was very nice. I was worried when I pulled up & saw how dated the exterior looked.

When we pulled in my teenage daughter said, mom this place looks sketchy.

The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the shopping area in Canton made it easy to get around. The staff was friendly. The room itself was very large, clean, and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable!

I didn't like how when booking they didn't tell us they were in the middle of a remodel. It would have been nice to at least have a heads up on the construction going on for their remodel. I probably would have been able to overlook all the dust and tape and stuff it I had a bit of warning to it. I always understand there are a lot of changes due to COVID19 but a heads up while booking that the bar and restaurant was going to be closed would have been really nice.
