The Wallhouse Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

I like staying here. The facilities are good. Breakfast is good. It is quiet. It's very clean. I like the outside sitting area. If you know the area it is close to a lot of Amish country. It is always a 10 for me here. The only reason I might not stay is if the rate is high on a particular day (which means other places are also high) I will find something else or wait for a better day rate. I stayed at the Ritz on Grand Cayman and it's not as nice as the Wall house.

Sometimes the price gets too high but it's probably busy and I would want to wait for a less busy time because the other things I do will be crowded too.

Clean and comfortable. The pool area is nice but unable to enjoy it due to drunk adults and teenage boys ruining the experience for others. Most of the staff are very helpful and kind. One in particular never smiled-lacked self awareness of body language.

That there is an upgrade charge to request a room on the back of the hotel so that I don’t have to listen to traffic (semi trucks) throughout the night. That there is no one policing the pool - drunk adults at the pool/hot tub/fire pit ruining the experience for other guests.

Wallhouse is a nice change of pace from a lot of the other hotels in Amish country. Rather than having the country home feel, it is more of a modern feel (don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the former as well). It was a very clean, modern room with the benefit of large windows, a country view, an in-room kitchen and balcony. The facilities also had a very nice hot tub, pool and outdoor patio, and also offered a good breakfast.

The location was perfect! The rooms were very comfortable and updated. I loved having a recliner in the room! The breakfast was excellent, both days! Wonderful views from the room were an extra bonus! Oh, and the walk in shower was very nice!

The bathroom mirror fogged up easily without a fan. The outside temperature was 19 degrees yesterday, but that was definitely out of your control! 😄

Clean room. Everything was very well kept and in brand new condition. It feels like you are the first one to stay in the room. Close to everything. Great parking and the outdoor fire patio was great.

Hot breakfast was very small. There was not enough for the two of us to eat. We were able to heat up a frozen breakfast sandwich, have a granola bar , and grab a couple muffins. There was make your own waffles but it was in a small area with too many people. We would stay more if it was cheaper. Our room was $235 for a Saturday night. Pretty steep for just a day trip.

What i liked.....ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! This place is comfortable,beautiful & has AMAZING staff that is always helpful & pleasant!! The breakfast is beyond the best I have ever had at a hotel!

What i didnt like can't recall anything! The lobby is always clean & welcoming then the room itself LOVE IT!

Everything was great! We especially liked having TWO comfortable chairs in the room and we really appreciated the fact that the hotel was accoomodating to our handicapped friend and his dog. Thank you so much for that as it really meant a lot to our little circle of friends who stayed there as we enjoyed Holmes County.

One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. The breakfast was very good and staff was helpful.

Location, friendly staff and how they attempt to meet your needs even with a dnd sign. Leaving extra supplies on the door was appreciated and an exceptional attempt to care for the customers.Breakfast was decent as well, first time we actually sat and enjoyed a hotel breakfast.

It was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Cleans rooms, great breakfast and friendly and helpful employees. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
