Berlin Resort

We love coming here. They have always been kind, helpful. The facility is clean, the breakfast is good, the pool, hot tub area is fun. I love the little play village for kids. My granddaughter enjoyed them. My grandkids loved feeding the fish. My 92 year old dad love sitting in the gliders watching the kids play. He enjoyed sitting under the gazebo and watching the waterfall go to the pond. He also, loved feeding the fish. I appreciate them getting us rooms next to each other. I asked for connecting rooms but they couldn't accommodate us. It was something we really needed. My granddaughter has down syndrome and my dad is 92, so my daughter and I help each other with them. But we made it work with side by side rooms. I love the location because it is close to everything you want to do. The grounds are beautiful. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Even if we never left the hotel, there is a lot to do there. We have never watch a movie in the theater, but we have thought about it. I'm glad that is an option. Loved our stay ane we will be back.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. Next time I know to ask for a room that has a balcony or over looks the beautiful grounds and not the parking lot. My dad commented that the room view was terrible. I have stayed in the rooms that have a balcony, it is beautiful. I know my dad would have loved sitting on the balcony and relaxing just looking at the view.

Everything, it's close to Berlin and Millersberg, near all the cutes shops. Immaculately clean. My wife has a standard of clean no hotel has ever met. Even the really clean ones she sill has to at least wipe down the remote or ask that we dont walk barefoot in the room. She didn't have to do any of that in these rooms. The porches and balconies on the rooms were great. Breakfast was great and even had fresh baked Amish cinnamon rolls. We loved the resort so much we booked an additional day there with them directly just to spend the day enjoying the resort grounds they sell snacks there at very reasonable prices. We plan on going back there soon.

We loved our stay at Berlin Resort. Very kid friendly, clean, beautiful grounds. Very peaceful. Front desk ladies were fantastic. Great amenities. We will return!

There isn't much to complain about. It is a beautiful facility. If I had to complain, the only thing would be the air-conditioner noise. We had a standard room and the unit is close to the bed. It was loud while running. I'm a light sleeper so it kept me awake. Not sure much can be done about that though.

I have stayed here multiple times and while I find the beds a little hard for my liking, this rooms are great, breakfast is FANTASTIC, we love the pool, movie theater, koi ponds, fire pits, etc. This place is truly our home away from home.

seriously.... the beds dude... they're pretty hard. It feels like I got beaten up in the middle of the night. The only time I sleep really well here, is when we go out and do a lot during the day and I am exhausted. When you sit on the edge you expect a little bit of give, there is none. With that being said, my daughter said she had the best night sleep and didnt find the beds uncomfortable at all.

We love the outdoor firepits that you can sit around at night. Although we didn't see the movie (we were too tired from shopping all day) but love the idea of having the movie to watch is we wanted. We love the little "village" that is at the bottom of the property for the children to enjoy. We also LOVE the warm cookies we received upon arrival.

I honestly don't have anything that I can say to make the stay better. We only stayed one night so maybe if we stayed longer, I would be able to find something to comment on, but I have to say everything was great. Thanks.

beautiful property, koi pond and kids area were great for the kids, breakfast was better than most cold grab and go hotel breakfasts with hot food and plentiful choices, Rooms were better than good but not great, if we ever were to go to Amish Country again, and had kids with us, this is definitely where we’ll be staying.

lots of walking in maze like halls, I seen a sign for an elevator but never actually seen it, getting luggage to and back from room better be carry or have some wheels as there were no luggage movers, Latest check in of anywhere we’ve ever stayed, Resort is kept up decently but definitely showing it’s age

Breakfast was good and the rooms very spacious. The rooms were the cleanest I have ever stayed at a hotel in. So much to do at the resort. We didn't get to do most of it but would like to come back sometime.

A few of the staff seemed to be put off or bothered by us. A smile can go a long way in making a person feel welcome. Would like to have had a microwave in the room. A round table in the room would be nice to sit around to play games.

The Staff was welcoming and the facility was so clean inside and outside. I have visited this place before, but never in the summer time. I was not disappointed I was able to explore the outside grounds. It was more beautiful, peaceful, and serene then I ever imagined. The guests were enjoying all the same common areas as myself and my husband enjoyed yet it felt like we were among family

There was nothing I didn't like

Great location... close to shops. The resort is clean & well maintained. At check in we were helped right away & were given 2 warm cookies. We had a room with a balcony (that included a 2 person glider) which was very enjoyable. We also very much enjoyed the putting greens.

Only complaint was we were given a room right next to the exit door. Every time someone exited or entered through that door it was loud, like someone was entering our room. Overall nice place & would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel over New Year's Eve. I'm sure the resort's grounds are amazing in the summer and spring but there is not much to look at during the winter, but that is par for Ohio. I would like to go back in the summer and see the grounds because the pictures look amazing. The room was a nice size, it was clean and quiet. It met my expectations.

My only complaint is the lack of protein on the breakfast bar. Most hotels the offer a hot breakfast bar usually serve some type of hot eggs (scrambled, omletes, etc). Thenonlybeggs this hotel had were hard boiled. If someone is trying to watch their carb intake, this breakfast didn't offer any low carb options.
