Inn at Amish Door

We like the view and the quietness of the hotel and the location. The breakfast was good. The staff was great. We enjoyed the pool and spa. We would have walked around outside the hotel but didn't due to the smoke alert from the fires in Canada.

We would prefer paper products (coffee cups and plates) for the breakfast. Styrofoam is not good for the environment and I don't think it is healthy to drink coffee from a Styrofoam cup. The room had a cleaning product smell which we did not notice in the past. Also it would be nice to have a microwave in the room.

We come every year. We stay in the large suite with the living room. It has two queen beds and a pull out sofa. We love everything there. The size of the room, The staff, Updated bathrooms and the amenities. The staff goes the extra mile for sure. They let our group go outside and play cornhole and set up the fireplace for us. We had an amazing evening. The only thing that we think could help out is maybe some newer softer beds. But it won't keep us away from going back next year. Thank you for an amazing stay..

This is close to everything but yet secluded. With real farm views. So relaxing, elegant, peaceful. The people so genuinely friendly. Everywhere you look a special place to sit with a view or a fire pit. Just an awesome place to relax, unwind, and then go close by to see all the sights or shop to your hearts content. This is a four star motel to me hands down. Would definitely recommend this place to others and stay here again. They also have in separate building with bakery, market,coffee shop, banquet room,picnic area with really unique ply ground.

Only thing I could be a little negative about was all of the jets were not working in the tub and a couple of the fire pits were not working but most places have no fire pit or only one, this place has several so can't really complain.

This place was everything! Everyone was so nice, I was greeted properly, they texted and asked me if I needed anything before I even arrived. The Inn was beautiful well furnished, the rooms was amazing. It was so much to do there, pool, lodging, games, the scenery was so beautiful. Popcorn was available all day for us and the breakfast was phenomenal as well as the buffet and market they had next door. I almost cried of how amazed I was when I walked into my room. I will be going back next month, I miss the fresh popcorn and wood smell already.!!!!

Hotel was very clean and relaxing. Staff treated us well. The breakfast area was delightful. Good food and it felt like upscale resort not just a hotel.. The scenery was beautilful. The beds were very comfortable and liked all the extra pillows to choose from..

The room was lovely, clean and spacious. What was lacking was a comfortable chair to sit and relax in. We spent a great bit of time in the room and having only the bed and straight back wooden chairs was disappointing. We have always enjoyed the meals at the restaurant and shopping in the gift area. The buffet was great but what has happened to all the gifts and lovely items on display? We certainly missed that.

Only reason missing a star or perfect rating.....was mattresses need replaced, both queen beds were worn down on 1 side & the 1 mattress was super squeaky noisy everytime you moved or got out of the bed, if not for extra pillows placing on the side would've made my sleeping obsolete, however everything else exceeded our expectations!

The Inn at the Amish Door was a great experience for my husband & I. The grounds were beautiful. Had a pool which we didn't use but was full of kids and a hot tub. There were 2 different areas that had fire pits & chairs set up. There were grills for your use and the views of the farm land were majestic. The breakfast was the best we ever had at a hotel. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I loved the atmosphere and beautifully decorated spaces. I liked that the breakfast was more than just danishes and beverages. I loved that our room had a full size fridge to hold the food and wine we acquired during our stay.

Didn't like that there wasn't a shower in the pool area to rinse off the chlorine. Also, that towels were not allowed to leave the pool area.

I loved how big the room we stayed in was! The staff were so friendly and helped answer questions we had! The view of the outside from the room we stayed at was phenomenal and so beautiful! The hot tub was amazing, the bathtub in our room was amazing and so was the waterfall shower in our room as well! It was all beautiful

Didn’t like the short stay! If we have another chance to get more days/ nights definitely gonna book them so we can more time in Amish country

I really enjoyed my stay, it was only one night and would have loved to stay longer. Such a beautiful and peaceful setting. The restaurant was delicious and of course a trip to the bakery is a must. The property is old but beautiful,if you want clinical and modern this is not for you, but I truly enjoyed my stay! Recommed a visit to Walnut Creek Farm while there!
