Red Roof Inn Cleveland - Mentor/ Willoughby

The staff at the location were fantastic, friendly and very helpful throughout the stay. The bed was comfortable, the heating was great and the shower had both good heat and pressure. The room is a good size and met my expectations of what I was looking for. The wifi signal was excellent.

Not a dislike as wasn't really an issue for me however may be useful to other travellers. I travelled on foot so it is worth knowing that you only really have access to the BKing and gas station opposite. I used uber and uber eats without any issues. The coffee and tea are available from 6-12 daily, with no kettle in the room. Room service is less frequent for longer stays however I did get a knock on the door to check if I needed anything. If I had to give any feedback at all it would be that the hoover/vacuum may not be strong enough to pick up everything, especially pet hairs. Having seen the room service lady vacuum I don't believe this is a staff issue.

Location was good

The room was clean except the floor. The floors need to be washed down after each guest, not just a wipe. The bottom of my feet were dirty and you can feel the grime on the floor.

window needed to be replaced. mine was constantly fogged up so it was hard to see out of the room. no fridge or microwave in the standard rooms. drain in the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned out. 🤢

Quick and easy checking on and out!

Our AC stopped working at 4 am and the room got hot with 4 family members staying in the room. The outside temperature was in 60° so we don't think it was done to a hot day. The AC did, on its own, start working again around 7am. It kept us from sleeping supper good.

Location 👍 because we felt safe. Burger King is a short walk. It’s almost like it’s on Red Roof property. Also a Gas Station / Convenient store across the highway. 4 minute ride to McDonalds and 7-11 Gas Station. It was about 25 minutes to Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame . 30 minutes to The Christmas Story House. 30 minutes to Cleveland Zoo. 20 minutes to Headland Dunes State Park Beach. ( This beach was so nice and clean) It has great parking and bathrooms . Lake Erie water temperature was cool but refreshing. Just be careful …… The water gets deep real fast. If your not a good swimmer or you have small kids have some floaters on the arms. Visit this beach if you have time and want to relax and enjoy a day out. ✅ RED ROOF STAFF WERE NICE AND FRIENDLY. ✅ Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame is 5.5 miles ( 10 minute ride ) to The Christmas Story House. You can see both in the one day

Room was $55.00 before taxes through Booking.com Then when I asked . The room has a Fridge and Microwave Right ? She said you must get a Deluxe Room for that. Room ended up after tax to be $82.00 a night. You won’t get coffee for your in room coffee maker in cheaper rooms either.

I’ve stayed here multiple times. I live locally but this is easier when I’m with friends and we go out at night because it’s very close to downtown Willoughby and we can Uber!!! It’s also quiet and clean. The beds are pretty comfy and parking is easy! Staff is always nice and check in/out is super quick! Also very close to the mentor mall and plenty of restaurants for anyone coming from out of town!!

The location was very close to the highway. I forgot how HUGE the beds at Red Roof Inn are. The king-size could've fit me, my partner, my 60lb dog, and a baby elephant with room to spare. We got exactly what we expected.

The door keys were finicky. It took multiple swipes for the door to open. We were worried that we might be locked out of the room. I also could feel the mattress springs while I slept but this room was also super cheap so I wasn't expecting much.

Great location near the Lakeland Community College, which held WonderStruck festival this past weekend. So close I could have walked to the festival. Will stay here again next year. Thank you for the comfy stay.

Non-smoking rooms were great, but still too many people smoking on the balcony outside, sheesh! This is not the venue's fault.

Easy on and off highway Staff was Friendly and helpful had key card problem fixed quickly. Property was clean and well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. Will stay there again next year! yes I would recommend

Didn't know they had a breakfast. I'm always up and gone before 6am anyway, so it wouldn't have mattered.

Bed was a bit to firm for me, so it was a little uncomfortable, but it could just be me as my bed at home has a 2 inch memory foam topper added to it.
