Embassy Suites Cleveland - Beachwood

Clean, nice accommodations, always an amazing hot breakfast, great laundry facilities!

One elevator closest to the door wasn’t working, but the other ones were. It was Saturday night, and the hotel rules were to be quiet by 9:30pm, but there were lots of noisy individuals in the center of the building, so the police were finally called to remove them around 11:00pm, so we didn’t get the restful night we hoped for, since it was the beginning of a week road trip. My husband had to go to our car to get something he had forgotten, and there were 7 police cars there. That was unnerving! But it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. They had a problem and took care of it.

I liked the ppl/staff at the property most. They made my family and me feel welcome. The ladies Jackie, Char and Whitney were all fantastic. We enjoyed the breakfast, Manager’s Special @ 5pm daily, the parking arrangement being easily accessible from our room which was located right outside of the lunchroom on the first floor.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy were the mattresses of both the bed in our room in addition to the let out bed for our kids. The establishment was very neat and clean however, the mattresses feel like they have run their life’s course. If upgrades are not being made to the hotel for new mattresses, I would suggest thicker mattress toppers.

The best. Chef was the best and friendliest ever, very caring, very professional, he did made to order omlettes. There couldn’t of been any one better, he made our morning beautiful, best breakfast ever, best omelette I’ve ever had, and I felt he really enjoyed his job and enjoyed people.. we were there August 8-10, so we had breakfast on the morning of the 9th. and 10th.

The pool was nothing but scum, very disappointed, I feel they need to give us two nights free, thats the only reason we went there was to swim and we couldn’t go in a pool so filthy. The manager said it wasn’t her problem, and said”I can’t do anything about it.” That was maintenance.

This hotel is about 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland and 20 minutes from Cuyahoga Valley National Park, as well as near a lot of big box stores for any travel needs. As with other Embassy Suites the rooms circle a central grand courtyard which the kids thought was cool.

The room was advertised as having a kitchenette. There was a bar sink, a dorm microwave, and mini fridge. Most budget hotels also have a microwave and small fridge without listing it as a “kitchenette”.

Convenient location off the 421, close to sufficient options for food, located in a relatively quiet corporate community. Room size was much larger than I anticipated for the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the room including bed and pillows. My room was located above the pool area and had a slight smell of chlorine, which actually made the room smell cleaner. Breakfaast buffet included in price was very good - a hot breakfast with made to order omelets or scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage patties. Overall, very happy on multiple measures.

Some of the fixtures were dated including the tub which was narrow and had a slope inward that made standing in the tub somewhat uncomfortable. The mini fridge was off balance and my water bottle would fall out every time I opened it. Staff at check in were not the most cheerful, but overall the positives outweigh the negatives, and I would stay here again if I needed a place on the east side of Cleveland.

Good and in a very convenient location

The staff could have been more attentive to the little things, making sure items were refilled and available on the breakfast buffet, making sure the water containers in the front lobby were not empty, opening the managers happy hour on time and letting guests know and ask if they were interested in ordering anything else off their menu or even that a menu existed. These small attention to detail items throughout the facility would improve their ratings tremendously. For the most part the staff was very friendly and cordial but a few seemed like they did not enjoy their work and did not go out of their way to be helpful.

just ok, my husband and i have visit Embassy Suites many time prior to covid. I know Embassy Suites could have done much better than what we experience the last visit.

The layout and atmosphere of the hotel. It was beautiful inside. The hot breakfast was amazing!

The cleaniness of the eating area and sitting areas in the hotel. They had not been sweep for days. The tables were not wiped off in the eating area. The area were you got your coffee and had coffee stains in it. The man filling the cups, etc. Actually took a rag and got water from the coffee dispenser on it to half wipe the area off.

There was no soap in the front bath room all 3 days, there was no wipe down clothes or solution for the exercise equipment. The floor never got sweep any were, The kids ran around all weekend and were load. The sign says mangers reception in the food area but it was in the bar. hard to find and tough to get waited on. There were 2 women both Am & PM who were so very nice at the Bar and the Grill.

The room was great the space was great, the location was great, the food was great in the grill and the Bar. The Food area was some what messy even with the young boys cleaning I don't think they had every use a rage or mop before. They had more time on the I-phone and visiting with other staff.

The location was important to me and I was completely satisfied with that. the hospitality of the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel exceeded all of my expectations. I wish I had known about this property early on in my visits to Ohio. I certainly would have chosen to stay in this hotel for all my traveling dates. The hotel was clean and the layout of the hotel was awesome. I never had to leave the hotel for anything except the event I traveled for. The food was great and they had a quaint little lounge and bar for my leisure time. If I ever have a reason to travel to that area again I will most certainly stay at the Embassy Suites.
