Holiday Inn Cleveland Northeast - Mentor, an IHG Hotel

The Breakfast was excellent. Everything was very clean. The rooms were spacious.

Well, our only complaint was about the beds. The beds were comfortable but VERY high off of the ground. We have never seen a bed this high before. This was a challenge for a short 5'3" 60+ year old woman and even for her 5'11" husband. I literally had to move a chair near the bed and climb up on the chair in order to climb up onto the bed.

I love the location. The restaurants and gas stations are really close. I was really impressed that I could just walk out of the hotel and walk right up to the restaurant of my choice. There are so many restaurants to choose from that will take care of everyone's craving. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. I really loved when I checked in, the check in clerk was very nice and helpful. I didn't stay for breakfast this stay as I was leaving so early but I will try it on my next visit.

Everything was great, There is nothing to really complain about. Next time I would like to find out if they have a pool or exercising room available. Also I would like to explore the area a bit more but the service I received this trip was excellent.

The room was very clean. The bed was amazingly supportive- firm with a very soft mattress topper. I will be getting one for home. It was awesome! The staff was friendly. The water pressure and temp were great. I did not use any, but a sign said all toiletries including razors and combs were available from the front desk if you forgot anything and they also had a complimentary sleep kit with a mask, neck pillow and ear plugs available. That was a really nice touch. The next morning, there was a free hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and potatoes, along with the usual options with fruit, danishes and rolls. The location was also very close to local restaurants, so it worked well.

The pool was closed and they did not discount the room. The indoor pool was our primary reason for selecting this hotel, so we were disappointed.

I booked this hotel as I had to take the LSAT. The General Manager Tim I think his name was. He went above and beyond to help with an internet issue I was having with the equipment I had to use and got me up and running. rooms and the whole hotel is very clean staff was great. I WOULD RECOMMEND this hotel.

There was nothing not to like

The breakfast was good, friendly people who was dining there. The bed was amazing, the room was clean and it felt really relaxing.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but I would have liked a microwave because my braggart cooled off quickly. The food itself was delicious and I enjoyed the variety.

Very quiet for as busy as it was because of a softball tournament in the area. Pool area was clean. Friendly staff.

There was no vent fan in the bathroom. A/C blows right on you in bed. No guide channel on the tv. The butter at breakfast was still very hard and impossible to spread on soft pancakes.

Clean. Comfortable bed and choice of pillows actually labeled as soft or firm. Quiet. Numerous places nearby for a drink or dinner. Plenty of room in lobby to meet guests. Good breakfast even with covid surging again. Coffee always available in lobby and in room k cup brewer.

Water backed up in shower due to slow drain. Service came to our room only once in 5 days so we had to hunt for the maids cart to change towels.

Variety of breakfast was outstanding. Great for Kids. Pool area was very nice and clean. Great for a winter treat for grandkids. Staff was so helpful. THE BEDS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!

Over all, no complaints

Location was excellent with restaurants nearby. Great breakfast every morning. Very clean. Wonderful staff. Bar tender in the little side bar was great and knowledgeable about the area. We will definitely be back.

Excellent service at the front desk. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location for attending the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
