This is the best deal I have ever had. The room is cheaper than a Hostel and very comfortable. There is nice seating and an excellent bed and lighting.
The door had a dark stain at the bottom. Probably nothing, but one always worries about the effects of black mold. The Motel has obviously put a bunch of effort into updating. The next task would be to paint the door and molding.

In online booking I revealed we had a cat and asked what the pet policy was. When I arrived and paid, I was charged$50 for the cat and was told I could not leave the cat in the car instead of paying to have it in the room.: the pet policy and cost should be clearly stated when booking online to avoid this. There were no lamps or overhead lights to read by. Otherwise, there was a nice fenced exercise yard in back for people with pets, and the place was quiet and clean.

We really like the Cascade Lodge and have stayed there many times in the past years. Older motel redecorated and improved. Pool is great in warm weather, and so nice not to have a second story with noise from above.
The bed in our room (24) this time is getting tired and may need replacement soon. All else good.
