Super 8 by Wyndham Bend

The location was perfect for my visit! I brought my dog up to spend the weekend with my daughter for her birthday which worked out really well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The rate was higher than normal because of a festival that was happening in town. I would have given a higher rating on Value if I had the regular rate. There was also a lot of conversation in the hallways outside my door because the room I was in was across from the housekeeping supply area. I was warned about potential noise from the breakfast room, however these voices were all speaking Spanish and from the peep hole I could see they were housekeeping staff.

It’s nice, especially for the price! Everything is clean and no questionable odors. One guest in our group thoroughly enjoys the pool and hot tub, although on this visit, the pool was cold. so she enjoyed the hot tub.

So much is good, it was hard to not notice old and worn carpeting, particularly on a set of stairs going up to the desk on the first floor. Not enough to deter future visits, just something we think is in the works for eventual updating. So much has been done already, I foresee new carpeting soon!

The pool and spa. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The front clerk gave directions to best entry to use, pool, breakfast room and ice/vending machines. The beds and pillows were comfy and clean. Heat and air worked well in our room. The maids were quick to respond to the need of more toilet paper and seemed to enjoy helping.

Facility could use a bit of fixing up, deep cleaning and paint. Carpet on stairs and dining area needs cleaned and/or replaced. Wish the pool area stayed open later so hot tub could be used after a late evening event. Continental breakfast could be expanded to include some fresh fruit, yogurt, instant cereals and variety of breakfast rolls. Seemed to be an unusually high patronage of younger people with large dogs. First floor by the back entrances smelled strongly of marijuana being used inside of the building.

Leticia had the room clean and very nice, the gentleman when we checked in was very very nice and kind, the lady was amazing the next day! She was beautiful, made our stay so worth it! Thank you all! Janie Snow and son William Woodward

The host was very friendly and helpful, I believe she said her name was Alyssa. The room was clean and well air conditioned. The swim pool was open and it was fun to be able to use it during our stay. It was in a good location near the grocery store and where my nephew's birthday party was held.

The pillows were a little bit small, but not a huge issue.

Enjoyed the swimming pool which was an unexpected bonus. there was even a small Jacuzzi. Close to downtown with selection of takeaways and restaurants.

The weather! It was snowing in the mountains in June, so had to stop camping and find a hotel!

No breakfast as stated. Coffee and a prewrapped mass produced Danish. On Booking.com it says “Great Breakfast” UM…NO!

Asked for a late check out. Got it then front desk clerk Willie calls the room and was ride with his tone of voice “well it’s 12:45 am so?” Well, what is anyone supposed to say besides a bunch of cuss words back to his rude self but instead I decided to be professional and just say we will be out of here and hung up the phone. Being rude will not get you anywhere in life Willie!

Staff gott a first floor rm next to handy cap entrance Housekeeper ran out when we wore driving out of the parkong lot to leave. We had forgotten a crutch she found and ran to get it back to us. Were very greatfull

It was quite, very clean, just off the main streets . Pet friendly., parking was easy to get in and out off. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Indoor pool and hot tub were open. Big windows and lots of sunshine coming into the pool area.

It’s an older property- but kept up well. New carpeting and fresh paint could brighten up the halls but it was well kept and clean!
