Love the location, how it's close to town and can enjoy outdoor activities for biking, snowboarding, hiking etc. nearby Love that it's less than 30 minutes away from Mt. Bachelor! There were many trails and outdoor activities we can do nearby. Love the fact that it's near town but it has an outdoor far away from town feeling that you get when you are out and about camping. The decor in the rooms were great! Sitting in the hammock that is connected to the ceiling was a bonus!! Great that there is bike racks in the room so you can store them inside. Absolutely love the concept of Loge.

The sheets, pillows and bedding weren't clean. We found strands of unknown hair and also found a tiny spider on the bed. But we understand it's an older facility so we push through and brushed it off and slept through the night. We spoke to the front desk the following morning and they were understanding and accommodating and quickly switch out to new sheets and bedding for us.

Staff were ultra friendly and interested in making our stay perfect. The room was spacious and beds very comfortable. The grounds were clean and beautiful, set in the trees and walking trails right from the motel. It was nice to have an outside space to sit, with a fire and the office/pub offered wine and beer and also coffee in the morning. The location is perfect if you are using Mt. Bachelor but also want to be pretty close to Bend for resturants.

The heating system is loud and not completely efficient although we were comfortable enough. Not sure how you would fix this as the property is older which makes the place quaint and perfect so you wouldn't want to change that. It was not a deal breaker and we would still recommend staying here.

This is a great place that is set up to please skiers and bike riders. Everything you could think of for those travelers. We were neither but enjoyed the room and grounds a great deal. We traveled with our dog and grand-daughter and both were happy there. The dog had woods behind our room to roam (on leash) and our G-daughter had a hammock in the room to relax in. The lobby has a nice selection of drinks and snacks. With games and tables for visiting.

I wish the pool hours were longer. We usually like to try out the pools when we travel.

Loved this place! I would’ve stayed longer if we could. The whole structure resembles a motel, but the rooms are such a huge upgrade. They have bike racks, coolers, a hammock, mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle, and pretty much everything for people to stay comfortably for a week or even more. The lobby/coffee house is cosy and perfect to play board games with friends. We visited late November, and I’m already planning to come back over the summer!

I honestly liked everything about this place! It’s located on the south end of Bend, so if you’re looking for something central just keep that in mind. Otherwise, the place is awesome!

great access to trails and truly a dog friendly hotel. Awesome place to chill and explore the city, trails and the Bachelor mountain. I love that the hotel is essentially at the border of a forest! so nice to go for a morning walk with my doggo

My room had only one towel for two adult guests so that was a bit of a pity. But I was so tired to go and ask for another towel that I did not even bring it up.

Loved the mobile check-in process and that our room was ready early! Room was clean, loved that there was a fridge and an electric kettle. The hotel has tons of amenities: pool, equipment rental, bike racks and coolers in the room, bar/cafe in the front. We were only there for one night, but I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bend.

Bathroom could use an update to match how nice the room and the exterior of the hotel felt. But honestly, it was clean and everything worked great/good water pressure, so not a big deal!

The rooms were so cute with the hammock hanging from the ceiling, yeti cooler for those who need it, it was like Glamming , I was worried when I first drove up, but couldn’t believe all the amenities, we had a fire for s’mores that they sold at the checkin, coffee shop and the sweetest girl working Maria, she gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants. Bend is an awesome town it reminded me of Bozeman. I can not wait to go back.

The air conditioner never cooled down to our preference.

I stayed there for a week in October. I liked everything except for the fact that the room definitely felt like it’s been heavily used already (scratches on the wall, spots on the couch and the bed blankets). It doesn’t feel new. Also, the heater situation was interesting (they only have a blow heater underneath the bath/kitchen sink, the one that dries the air. I turned it on every morning and every evening, but turned off for overnight). Other than that the place is magical! Quiet and feels like home. Don’t count on their coffee shop much.

Loved the rustic hipster motel vibe.. the hot tub was also great! Staff was super helpful and friendly.. loved that we could borrow bikes and ride downtown. Made a fun adventure. Also used the mountain bikes which was a perk!!

Don't love that you can hear everything outside your window. Feels like people can look in at any time of the day. The pillows were a little flat and would have loved a fluffier comforter. Would have loved to enjoy a fire outside in the grass area or somewhere outside of underneath the lobby driveway area (that did not seem like an optimal place to congregate). Came on a non-concert night so feel like there is a better way to use the grass/stage area on those nights!

The property is a short drive (or walk) to the downtown and shopping area. It also has trailheads leading to the Deschutes River from their parking lot. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was clean and my kids enjoyed the hammock and the board games (available for free).

The pool was unavailable and partially drained. The water was also turned off for a short while during the day for maintenance. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
