Everything was neat and clean, our room was comfortable

The parking garage was absolutely terrible and had cars with broken out windows in it. During the weekend Across the street there’s a parking garage that’s $8 a day vs $43, and way less sketchy. Downside to the other parking is no in and out access.

We liked the hotel and the lounge on the 3rd floor for drinks / appetizers and breakfast. The river was very pretty across from the hotel. We walked to Morton’s Steak House for dinner. We walked in the morning time along the river.

I would have liked to see a real gift shop to buy fun Portland stuff and basic essentials. Why? They had a huge convention going on. Missed opportunity to sell additional things to the guests. The trip to Target (a few blocks away) was a bit scary with many homeless people around. There were 3 armed police officers as you entered Target. We were in and out quick!!

Free breakfast and happy hour were lovely! Beds, linens, pillows always excellent. Kindly granted an extra hour at checkout. Room was great. Best of all, well trained staff who were helpful, friendly, knowlegeable.

Parking is always so expensive! The hot tub: one was closed, the other was absolutely filthy with scum in the bottom. This is not the fault of the hotel, but street noise (ie VERY loud singing followed by a one person monologue that went on from about 1-4 am) and conditions in the self park parking lot were significant enough to prevent us coming back here next time. We will most likely still stay at a Hilton, just not this one.

Omg... I would not stop bragging about this place. Service was exceptional from the front desk personnel to the pool attendant, who was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was fresh and super tasty. Definitely will come back.

There was an incident with Scott, who is one of the valet parking attendants. He was so rude and at one point mocking me and my daughter, saying horrible remarks, but Joey was absolutely amazing, giving us suggestions for dinner. Thanks, Joey!!

Breakfast was amazing, service was excellent and professional.

For the most part we were completely satisfied. The only down parts are 1) the pool unlike most hotels is only open until 10pm where as many competitors are allowing 24 access for adults. The 2nd) is it's not pet friendly. Even though we still plan on coming back fixing those 2 would result in not only my family coming back more but many many others would be attracted as well. Outside of that perfect place to call home for the vacation.

A grand , spacious lobby from 1908 . We picked this location because it is walking distance from the Amtrak station . The included breakfast was good considering that we are just coming out of the epidemic , and we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant that is accessible from the hotel . There was free coffee in the lobby at all times .

The staff was helpful and kind. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and having a place to eat on site was great. Mammas Bistro did not disappoint.

This was originally going to be myself and my daughter traveling but my husband ended up joining which was a good thing due to all the homeless and other shenanigans around the neighborhood. The location is great and it’s only 700ft away from the Roseland Theatre which is what brought us to Portland however, I definitely would have not been comfortable walking around alone with our daughter.

The room was large and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good. The pool was nice, with a hot tub and sauna. The lobby was gorgeous.

The parking was expensive. The neighborhood has a lot of homeless folks, like most downtown areas these days. The breakfast was pretty basic with no variety day to day. The pool and breakfast areas were very dark all the time.

I liked that the location was very close to the things I wanted to see in downtown Portland. Everything was within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was hands down the best I’ve had during a hotel stay. The evening social was very nice. It is great that the elevators only work with a valid key card, making me feel secure. The bed was comfortable. In room coffee is better than average. Even though the hotel is an obvious renovation of an old hotel- The Multnomah, the amenities are nice, even though my room was a bit cramped feeling. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are some really good restaurants within a block or so of the hotel, as is Voodoo Doughnuts, one of the places I wanted to try while in Portland.

Even though there isn’t much that the hotel can do, the location is in an area with a lot of homeless people and I was warned by hotel staff be be aware of surroundings. The only reason I am mentioning it is because it made me feel that the room cost was higher than it should be for that reason. I didn’t feel, as a solo traveler that it would be safe to walk about at night.

The bed! Very comfortable! Good sized room. The breakfast and evening nibbles were generous and a good sleection of foods. It was good that you could collect a tray and return to your room - handy as I could carry on working in my room.

The 'kitchenette; consisted only of a microwave, bar fridge and strange coffee/ tea machine (not even a kettle). There was (initially, unitl I asked) ONLY two paper cups - no other crockery and cutlery.
