Budget Inn Breezewood

Look, this isn't the Ritz-Carlton... but you know what to expect with an independently owned motel off the PA Turnpike. Does this place have a ton of immensities? No. Is there breakfast in the lobby and a mini-bar in your room? No. Is this a clean place to lay your head while traveling so you can get up in the morning and hit the road well rested? Absolutely. Quick note, we asked for a room with 2 Queen beds but got 2 connecting rooms, each with 1 bed. This worked out perfectly because we had 2 bathrooms which made for an even easier morning for showers, etc. We really appreciated that!

Small amount of noise from the highway, but honestly we were so tired eventually we didn't even notice it!

Easily accessible location from major highway with great access to nearby gas station, convenience store, and restaurants. The room was very affordable for one night and came equipped with a mini fridge, a coffee maker, an air conditioner, and a television.

There are some nearby businesses that are closed or out of business but the buildings/ signs are still there. The nearby McDonalds, Sheetz, Bob Evans, and various gas station convenience stores are all walking distance but they are separated by very large, high traffic roads so you're better off driving. As for the room, it provided the minimum amenities necessary to spend a night somewhere and get back on the highway the next day. I would not recommend it for any more than 1 night.

Great location near several casual dining options. Good for quick overnight stay. No frills but has necessities like microwave, fridge, coffee maker. Mattress was fantastic, a Serta Beautyrest Black. Air conditioning was fine once you asked the staff for its remote control. Shower water was hot and pressure great. Easy tv remote. Staff/owner friendly. Give this little place a try compared to other chain places nearby.

Coffee maker tricky. Property is older, a bit of wear and tear but clean as possible. Pink tub had funky adhesive strips, would not take a bath. Busy highway with lots of truck traffic.

The hotel was wonderful. Clean, great staff, all systems worked well, including the delightfully hot water.

No fault of the hotel but it is located on a hill on a busy road and the trucks use their J brakes (compression) to slow down. So it was a little noisey. I have a White Noise app on my phone that helped drown out that traffic--especially braking noise.

The room was extremely clean, you could eat off of the floor, the bathroom was extra, clean, and very functionable. For the price, I would highly recommend it to anyone. It is a relatively small room, but again it was very very clean with a really nice TV. We enjoyed our stay.

It is what it is. An affordable hotel. nothing fancy. My room was very clean. the staff were friendly and accommodating. I wasn’t planning on staying in a hotel but traffic had me so behind schedule. I needed to find a place to get off the road and get some rest. I’m glad I stayed here. possibly the nicest budget hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Very friendly and pragmatic personel. Booked a two Bed-Room, as they hadn't any aviable we got two neighbouring single Bed-Rooms instead.

The Motel is quite close to the road and not really soundproofed. The motorbreakes of passing trucks can be quite loud (the Motel provides good earplugs for free though).

I was pleasantly surprised with the Budget Inn. Great value for a place to rest. Sheets and pillow cases were clean!! 🏅 I would stay here again in the future.

There were two chairs in my room, both chairs had a significant amount of dried stains on them which looked like bodily fluids 💦💦💦💦 not good. 🤢

Look, the Budget Inn in Breezewood is older, but, the room was clean and quiet, the bed wasn't bad (little harder than we're used too), the shower was hot and the WiFi was spectacular. The room was inexpensive so we found this to be a great value. A good choice if you need a quick place to stay on a road trip. The next time we need someplace and we're near here, we will stop.

Breezewood is not a tourist attraction. It is a stop on I70 just before you get onto the Pennsy Turnpike. Traffic in the center of town is a 24/7 nightmare but you don't hear it from the Budget Inn. (The traffic is what kept me from checking out the abandoned section of the Turnpike. Maybe next time.) Bob Evans is what passes for fine dining, so that was where we had breakfast. Oh, regarding parking at Budget Inn; be smart, don't park in the corner of the lot as you can be blocked in.

I travel fairly regularly from Delaware to Ohio and often need to stay overnight on the way. I have stopped at the Budget Inn many times in the past 5 years. It meets basic overnight needs. The rooms are always very clean, welcoming, easily accessible (which is good for my sister's rollator) and comfortable. They take my dog. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the price is good!

Nothing that can be changed...sometimes the trucks braking while rolling into Breezewood sound like giant boulders rolling down the hill.
