Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Chester, an IHG Hotel

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to West Chester University. Microwave in the room is convenient. Free breakfast had selection of hot items as well as yogurts & fresh fruits. Dove products in bathrooms were nice The full size bottles were actually full! (So many hotels don't bother filling them up!) 2nd floor rooms have a nice sitting/computer area. I could get away from the kids and enjoy my coffee in peace. Staff was very nice: front desk clerk, housekeeper and the gentleman who kept the breakfast area filled and clean. He was very professional even when someone was very upset about breakfast items not being there. (It was almost 10am and breakfast ends at 10) I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Gym was out of order. I just wanted to jump on the elliptical. But sign said it was being renovated so I understand. Hope they make it bigger. Only a treadmill and elliptical in a tiny room.

The hotel was clean and the staff was amazing. Just mentioned to Anthia that the ac unit in my room needed to be checked as it rattled. She moved me to another room immediately. Housekeeping was very good and came daily. Breakfast was good but the pancake machine was not working. The elevator broke so I had to climb the stairs, but stuff happens not sure if the hotel can be blamed. Anthia was very nice and professional. She is an asset to the establishment.

Fix the pancake machine. I mean seriously it's what you are known for. I kept getting Facebook ads about how great the pancakes are the entire stay. I am returning in June, so get on it

The hotel was fine. We were in some serious traffic that made us 2 hours late to arrive. I called the hotel to let them know and they were very accommodating.

I am a platinum member and I always book on my IHG app. The trip was last minute so I needed to book for that evening. The site looked different and it seemed to be frozen. I could not search for a hotel nor could I book. So I had to go directly on line. The price that I was quoted on line was not what I was charged. It was only a few dollars difference, but I couldn't understand why they wouldn't be the same. I showed the person at the desk my platinum card but it was not acknowledged and I wasn't offered bonus points. That is not usual and I was a bit disappointed.

Friendly and helpful staff They had an indoor pool that's open until 9pm Kid friendly Nice breakfast Nice location Had full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in bathroom- really nice since I had forgot the bag that had all our toiletries in.

-Bed was a little uncomfortable -Pool and pool area were freezing cold -Could be cleaner- found a moldy oreo by the side of the bed and also found a shoe and other items under the pullout sofa bed.

The facilities were clean and organized, no odor. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and warm, the tub in the bathroom was huge and comfortable enough for me and my partner to bathe together.

The breakfast was sub par at best. There were only eggs sausage and bacon. Not many choices otherwise. There isn't much else that I didn't like. I would have loved more choices for breakfast, but at price point it was fine.

We loved the spa tub. The room was a good size. We are from Vermont and we came down to pick up the RV we purchased. The dealership is right across the street, very convenient.

We got in late, so we were late risers. Went to get some breakfast just about 9:00, very little to choose from. Eggs were empty, bread/English muffins were empty ( I was able to get a bagel) sausage about empty. One paper bowl left, so I let my wife have it. I am sure it was a very busy morning considering it was a Saturday morning with lots of kids in the hotel. We were able to find enough to eat, so it wasn’t a total disappointment.

Front desk issues with credit card processing. They apparently didn't know how to process the card I was using. They said it was the card, however the card worked just fine anywhere else I used it.

The hotel staff was kind and attentive. Our room was very clean and had a great selection of coffee. The microwave and large mini fridge was a big highlight. The free breakfast was great and saved us from needing to find food nearby. Overall a wonderful experience.

Other patrons were incredibly loud, felt like they were in the room with you. It couldve been the thin walls but leaning more towards inconsiderate people which the hotel has no control over.

The location was superb. This is my 4th hotel to use in the area in the last 12 months for work and it is the best so far.

On the first night the toiletries were absent but was quickly resolved by staff and has not happened again.

Room seemed very clean.

When I went to get my “Grab & Go” breakfast, I went in through the OPEN door to the dining room. No one was there so I preceded to get items for my “Grab & Go” breakfast. As I was about to leave, a staff member came running over, yelling at me that I should not be in there. She pointed at a sign in the lobby which was facing the opposite direction from which I entered. I said there was no sign on the open door from which I entered and then I left. She was having a hissy fit over the whole thing.
