Hampton Inn & Suites Chadds Ford

Great and well executed breakfast buffet. Good food and good choices available. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Signed us up for the rewards program when we realized this was a membership we missed getting. We travel a lot and were glad to have another hotel chain that we can count on.

The only small issue I had was the carpet in our room (#239). The carpet was slightly frayed in 2 spots where the carpet met the tile sections of the floor. The room was very clean and well maintained except for that 1 minor issue. We stayed at the Chadds Ford location since we were attending a wedding reception nearby. It was such a delightful stay, we will definitely come back.

The property was clean and welcoming. The front desk representative Krystle was welcoming, kind, and you can tell she really strives to make the guest have the best stay as possible.

The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud! It made a real bad rumbling noise and no one can sleep like that so we had to turn it off at night which made it hot in the room. The pool area was nice however the temperature in the pool room was extremely hot. With the pool water being warm and the room being hot it felt like a sauna so we couldn’t enjoy the pool for long.

Breakfast was exceptional! Even at 9:15 am, everything was stocked fully, including fresh apples and bananas. The choices were bountiful and I had a hard time choosing so as not to overeat! The woman keeping it stocked and tidy was a hard-worker who clearly takes her job seriously and she was very pleasant!

Forgot to mention to the desk that the bedside clock was incorrect by an hour so we almost missed breakfast! We thought it was 8 am, when it was really 9 am! Might want to have someone check all the clocks in the rooms. I'm assuming the housekeeping staff are from other countries where they don't observe daylight savings twice yearly.

Roz’s text the morning of our visit to ask if we needed anything was exceptional. We book Hampton Inns because of the breakfast offerings and enjoyed the selection as always. The pool and spa was clean and well maintained and the ice maker actually worked. Our room was quiet and afforded a good nights sleep. Roz was again engaging as we checked out. We enjoyed our visit to Longwood Gardens and will book this Hampton Inn when we visit again.

Lots of hungry folks at breakfast and we had to wait a bit for replenishment of eggs and sausage, but meanwhile we were happy enjoying the good coffee.

The breakfast was great. Had a nice variety of food to choose from. The hotel was very clean. Really liked the shower. Preferred it over having a tub. The front desk personnel were very nice and accommodating.

Liked the fridge in the room but hoped there would be a microwave in the room. Thought that it was odd not to have a closet. Those were just minor things. Would not prevent us from staying there again.

Breakfast was hot and varied, with lots of choice of eggs, meat, hash browns, oatmeal, fruit, trail bars and pastries, yogurt and more. Lots of seating area. The room was modern and very clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy and fresh. The whole hotel was fresh and clean. Didn’t use the pool or fitness centre but they looked clean and adequate. Location was great for going to Longwoods Gardens and Winterthur.

Everything!! The room was spacious, bed was super comfortable, breakfast delicious, pool was a great size, hot tub was nice and hot, they had everything I needed for exercise equipment and front desk was very helpful answering all questions and meeting all my needs quickly!

I have no complaints!!

Everything was great, from the room to the breakfast. But ESPECIALLY the front desk clerk, Matt (I think).... He was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Super friendly and most helpful. This is the second time I stayed at this location for business and he really made an impression on me BOTH trips!!!!!

We really appreciated the extra care shown to us by Sabina who texted us prior to our visit to see if we had any special needs or requests for our stay. She also followed up with us during our visit. The fact that the indoor pool was open was a bonus.

The only reason that we didn't give a 10 was that due to supply and corporate restraints, the usual fine breakfast buffet was not available. Please don't misunderstand, the breakfast was far superior to the ones offered elsewhere in other places during this time in history.

Everything was great, clean, staff was very nice breakfast was good , pool area was large and very clean.

The only issues we had was the" convenient store" wasn't stocked . Didn't bring some things along (tooth brush,tooth paste, drinks etc) because we knew they had a store and thought we would grab small stuff we needed.
