Holiday Inn Johnstown-Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Nice staff, Clean, and afforable, loved that the pool was clean, big, and open late. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, soap was dove (big plus). Breakfast was FANTASIC, I expected a contential breakfast with cold cereal and muffins. This was a sit down, waffles, eggs, toast, potatoes SOOO good. Also nice atomphere nice servers. It was great! Parking was free another awesome feature. Very happy overall with our experience.

I really cant think of anything I didnt like. But I have to put something in this area to submit the review.

Clean quiet rooms, great pool and hot tub Very good restaurant

Booking.com didn't keep mine and my daughter's info linked. Even though I paid for both rooms and requested adjacent rooms we were assigned to 2 different floors. Luckily the hotel was able to get us on the same floor when we checked in

The vending machines weren’t stocked on floor 6, where my room was. I booked this particular hotel, because they advertise an on site restaurant. The restaurant wasn’t open, so I had to find other dinner and breakfast accommodations. You shouldn’t advertise a restaurant if it’s not operational, that’s extremely misleading. The pool was nice, but the jacuzzi hot tub didn’t work. The water was warm, but only one of the seats had a semi-working jet. Again, don’t advertise something that’s not working.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean, including the bathroom which had amazing shower water pressure. The restaurant downstairs, while somewhat pricey provided an amazing dinner place. I was surprised when the breakfast that was included in our stay was in the same restaurant and only required a signature at the end of whichever breakfast you chose.

property was well maintained and recently updated. beds were comfortable but wish they were at least a queen. very close to our venue. could walk everywhere.

I had booked this property because they were supposed to have late night food. we attended a concert and wanted to be able to grab a bite after. Had to go to a different establishment about 3 blocks away.

Friendly staff, clean .great location

Only problem....no washcloths in the bathroom!! I was already in the shower. Simply made due after a 4 hour drive to get Johnstown. I immediately went to a graduation ceremony & BBQ for hours. Really wanted to get clean upon my arrival at the hotel. We called & was brought some right away.

Room was nice, staff was friendly, large heated pool, hot tub, sauna, lounge, extended hours for the pool and fitness room. HVAC wasn’t loud like other hotels. High shower head and hot water. Comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean and had lots of grab bars.

Pool was very nice but could have been a little cleaner. There was hair and other particles floating around. No towels in pool area. No breakfast in the morning.

Parking was under construction and with a concert in town it was hard to find parking. We were sent to park in another garage , only spot on top floor and the elevator was closed. This is only temporary, but it was tough.

Housekeepers were very good and very kind, concerned

Mix up at check in was frustrating. Parking is challenging there and then we have to pay for it! Easter breakfast buffet food was not good. But server was excellent employee. Room was clean. Our floor (5th) was way too warm.

Location was great as our family was there to attend to the funeral services of a family member who was the minister at First Lutheran Church a block from the hotel.

We paid for rooms up front to receive free breakfast only to find out they don't serve breakfast on Sundays and Holidays.
