Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lehighton (Jim Thorpe), PA

Staff is exceedingly pleasant and supportive. Room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in, so we didn’t do breakfast lol Love that checkout is 12 noon. Only wish there was body wash provided for the shower. I’m a Hilton person, normally, and they have it available in the shower. I used a tiny bar soap. Should’ve brought our bathing suits. The pool looked sparkling clean and inviting! All in all our stay was wonderful and we’d certainly stay again in the future!

Body wash not in room. For the cost, it would’ve been appreciated.

We've never stayed at a Country Inn and Suites before and we were impressed. While it's a tourist class hotel, the property and rooms were very well maintained. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the breakfast room was impressively equipped and VERY clean. It was a pleasant surprise to watch the reception staff staff cleaning in areas most folks never seem to pay attention to...well we did and truly appreciate the effort!

I wish the week day breakfast hours were a little later...and wish we had brought our bathing suits...but that's on us.

We enjoyed our stay at Country Inn & Suites. The location was perfect, we were able to reach all of our destinations within minutes. The cleanliness was exceptional, from the entryway to our room. The breakfast set up was nice, everything well stocked (though I’d think about adding fresh homemade oatmeal not the individual make it yourself cups). The pool area was very clean and a nice size, our bed and pillows comfy and I loved the fire pit outside, nice touch!

very comfortable and clean room. Nice beds, bed sheet. Although the room was facing the highway, it was very silent. Breakfast was included and good. The location is good, about 10min from Jim Thorpe, so good driving distance for having dinner on the town. Also very close to the Outdoor sporting center where we planned activities.

The pool was the only down side, not as nice as the pictures and the hot tub was broken. The sun deck space is small and facing the highway, it’s private with plants but noisy. On top of that, the door closed and there’s no way to open from outside so we got stuck and had to walk around the building.

Friendly greeting upon arrival! Easy, quick check-in. Clean room with the basics that are needed. Comfortable bed. Girls working Saturday, 11/5 were great! Loved the firepit outside and that we could buy a reasonable bottle of wine right in the lobby for a nightcap! Would stay here again.

Our room was on the first floor. I didn't realize that the windows opened until the following morning. Hindsight - unsafe feeling as we were ground level. Would not stay on the 1st floor again, but would stay at this hotel again.

Excellent place to stay and relax. We were there as a family (couple + 1) and everything was great. The swimming pool is a plus, from 6 am to mid-night. Room is large and renovated. Would definitely come back.

Hot tub was out of service (and is expected to be for the next months). Breakfast is good, not excellent. Not walking distance from anything, but not a big deal. Drive to city center would take 5-10 minutes one-way.

Breakfast was great, cookies in foyer made the kids trip. Pool. Pretty sheet topper vs reused unsanitary quilt on beds.

Entrance from other side of road should be signed as it was very confusing. Pool towels were very small. It would be awesome to have bigger cups for coffee and juice for breakfast. Juice cups were tiny! Didn't bother us, but for others- this is not a view location. On main roads.

This was a lovely stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The King suite I stayed in was very comfortable - both the bed and the sitting area. Got a great night's sleep. My suite was immaculate - very impressed with how clean everything was. The common spaces were organized and kept clean. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of items. I will definitely stay here again.

My only complaint is that the pillows were not big enough for a king size bed, and they were flat. Definitely had to sleep on 2 pillows for comfort.

Accomodations Amenities

The desk clerk said that the manager could apply for a military discount during our stay. When I spoke with the management, he said that I was misinformed and that due to our reservation being made through booking com he was unable to apply the discount. This is an inconvenient process in today's society, especially to our military and elderly that are trying to save during this economy.

spacious double queen room with a very comfortable mattress and a very nice bathroom. had a coffee maker and fridge in room. restaurant/bar in hotel was also very nice.

Carpeting desperately needs cleaned...lots of stains. Could hear people walking around in room above us. One sounded like an elephant that must have walked across their room at least 50 times or more so we were thankful they finally went to bed around 11:30.
