Hampton Inn Lehighton - Jim Thorpe

The front desk were very nice and accommodating. It was a special anniversary trip we were on, and they did one of those cruise ship swan decorations with the towels, silk rose pedals and a bottle of "champagne" (Welch's Sparkling Grape Juice) ;-) Very thoughtful. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean, and the hot tub was nice and hot. Plenty of towels and chaise lounges if you wanted. Very nice experience, at the last stop of our two week excursion.

The location wasn't the best. Tough to get in, if you had to cross the highway. But, I was told that they are petitioning for a traffic light. That will make it about perfect.

The hotel was a wonderful choice, as we were going to a show at nearby Penn's Peak and it was so close. The hotel staff was friendly, and I loved the fact that coffee and treats were available upon check in. There were also may choices for dining and drinks super close. I liked the view from the room and all of the available plugs, outlets, lighting sources in the room. We stayed in the king study and the room was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again.

The parking area was on somewhat of a hill, but it wasn't terrible.

As soon as you walked in the doors you could see how clean everything was. The manager Trisha was unreal. She is very attentive and detail oriented. Trisha was getting the breakfast ready in the morning and going to each table asking how everyone’s overnight stay was and if they needed anything. The staff at the front desk was always welcoming and very pleasant. The pool area was immaculate. I stayed in a room with two queen beds. It was spacious and perfectly clean as well. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I have no complaints

My husband, brother and his wife traveled from the Scranton area to Jim Thorpe for an overnight vacation. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Lehighton. We were pleased with the facility, the accommodations, breakfast and cleanliness of the rooms. We would definitely stay at the Hampton Inn in Lehighton if whenever we return to Jim Thorpe. Another great feature is the entrance to the PA turnpike is close to the Hampton Inn. When we were departing, we got "goody bags" for the trip home. How thoughtful. I was happy to learn hot coffee was available at all times.

Nothing. We were very pleased with everything.

Room was clean and comfortable. The television worked well and had a lot of available stations. The breakfast was excellent and included some hot foods and also a machine to make your own waffles. Fresh fruit and yogart was also available. Cookies, tea and coffee available around 430 pm when we returned from skiing. The staff at breakfast was very helpful. Front desk personnel were also friendly. The only glitch is that after a cold day on the slopes we enjoy the hot tub. The hot tub was only several degrees warmer than the pool on our first night and then ice cold on our second night. Front desk staff told us the heating element went out and was to be replaced soon. Overall, I would recommend staying at this Hampton.

That the hot tub did not work both nights we stayed.

Great little getaway with my husband. Room was very clean and comfortable! Lucy at the front desk was wonderful! I had lots of questions about the area and she was able to answer all of them. Also the breakfast staff was excellent. I have a gluten allergy and cant share toasters so I brought my own and they helped me find an area to plug it in and offered gf bread ,it's excellent they have gf bread available for those of us that can't eat regular.

Clean Clean Clean !!! Breakfast was served by the front desk It was Meh but I'm sure it was due to Covid restrictions you could tell the staff was doing as best they could with what they had to work with, anytime We can have a hot breakfast is a bonus for us . The staff at this place is A+++

Not much for scenery or any grounds to walk around its pretty much right off the main route but we didn't come here to sit at the hotel and it for the most part in this immediate area they are all like that so its not really a negative or the hotels fault just a side note if you have kids

The outdoor seating area with the fire pit was very relaxing. The morning breakfast was also very good.

The communication with the property is terrible. I called 3 times & sent messages to request a quiet room. At each check in no one had my request in my last 3 stays. just don’t understand how this keeps happening.

Everything about this facility is a 10! The staff are especially accommodating to whatever they can do to help their guests. The location of this hotel is the best! Travel to it from many cities is easy and quick! The breakfast had a wide choice of foods for any dietary needs of the guests. The rooms were exceptionally clean and refreshing. The noise level in the rooms contributed to a restful and relaxing stay!

The hotel was clean, 24hr coffee an tea. You can also pick up free water bottle at the reception desk. The pool was nice although I think the jacuzzi needs to be cleaned out. The beds and pull out couch where comfortable. Also across from the front desk you have many things to purchase in case you get the munchies or need a drink. Very good hotel for families and very quiet.

I think the price was a bit much. I understand the whole thing with Covid19, but it's not like there was a lack of Employees. It's a good hotel, but the attractions near by do not reflect the price.
