Hampton Inn Pittsburgh Area-Beaver Valley-Center Township

Older property but nicely maintained convenient to local towns and Boscov’s. Delightful staff. Small clean pool no hot tub. Good breakfast. Wish they would clean grout in the bathrooms. Coffee all day. The price is right.

It’s right next to some utility property surrounded by chain link fence, and an out of business restaurant that looks abandoned. View out windows was big power lines.

Excellent hot breakfast from 6 to 10 a.m.: omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, cold and hot cereal, bananas, apples, yogurt. Fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate available in lobby all day long. Nice dining area, tables spread out, spotlessly clean. Easy walk (about 200 yards) over to the mall with a very good Mexican restaurant, plus food court with other options. Quiet, comfortable room-- ours had a small fridge and microwave. Excellent wifi. In sum, we found it a very good value for the price.

The breakfast was very good. The pool was a great place for the kids to burn off energy at the end of the day. The rooms were very comfortable and cleaned daily.

We really like staying at this hotel every time we visit the area. Although a few other places were cheaper, this hotel is worth the extra cost.

Excellent value. The rooms were large and clean, with a nice bathtub and shower. I liked the fact that there was a pool, though I didn't use it. Breakfast was fine by American standards. Good front desk reception.

I thought it was very good, period. The only thing I can think of is that the setting near the hotel, a largely empty mall, is kind of depressing, but there's nothing they can do about that.

Comfortable beds in large rooms. Very clean. Staff friendly. Beautiful hotel. Quiet. Allows pets.

The only thing was staff smoking in front of the building. I have asthma and am happy to stay at a smoke free hotel. It defeats the purpose to have to walk through staff smoking when I enter or exit the front door. Perhaps they can have an area to the side or back.

Very clean. Nice staff. Bathroom was nice and updated.

Furniture in room was worn and outdated. It felt like we were back in the 70s. Not the quality of other Hampton Inns where we have stayed. We had to walk through a haze of cigarette smoke when we were arriving. Should move the smoking area elsewhere.

The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy. Everyone was kind and helpful. Breakfast had great variety. Loved the waffles and fresh fruit.

We were very happy. If I had to choose something I didn’t love it’s only that there was no dark roast coffee available downstairs at breakfast lol

The male who checked us in (around 11:30 pm) used the time to tout his political opinions. Little did he know we are not aligned politically, however, even if we were, it was inappropriate as it turned into his complaining about working 60 hrs/week...It seemed a conflict of interest for us to be hearing about this, as the consumers.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. The facility was bright, clean and well kept.

If you aren't going to have housekeeping remake beds and replace towels for longer stay (more than one night) guests, at least have them remove the trash on a daily basis.

The location was great in terms of where we wanted to be. Room was clean which was a very big plus and is what will being us back to this location.

The cleaning people did not come in during our stay so the trash started to pile up a little bit. Pillows and bed were quite uncomfortable. We had to go buy our own pillows.
