Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Airport

The location was very convenient to the airport, which was the purpose of my travel.

The parking lot was a little scary at night. I had to leave at 11:00 PM to pick my daughter up at the airport and the lighting in the parking lot was not as sufficient as I had hoped, also I wasn't prepared to park in the back of the hotel and have to walk all the way around the hotel to enter into it. Thankfully I did not have an issue, but was scared none-the-less.

We had a very late arrival due to a plane delay. After 1 a.m.! The desk had our keys ready and we’re in our rooms within minutes.

With a noon checkout, we didn’t get down for breakfast until about 10:20 and everything was cleared and cleaned up. In fairness, 6-10 a.m. was posted and we didn’t notice it at one am. Being available until 11 am on weekends would be a good idea.

Was told I could have a late check out because I checked in very late at night/early morning and then the next shift called and said that was a mistake and I had to go or I would have to pay for another night

Close to airport and the shuttle to the airport

Hairdryer overheated and had to cool off in the middle of drying my hair. (I don't have a lot and it is thin). Eggs at breakfast weren't the best. Needed salt to make them palatable

Good location in relation to our destination, so no complaints there. The bathroom had a strange odor, almost like a musty gym, or towel that has been used several times without being washed. Other than that, our stay was fine. The front desk had a large bowl of Andes mint chocolates, so that alone is 4 stars ;)

As mentioned above, the funky smell in the bathroom.

Good breakfast no waffle maker or danish/pastries available

When I booked reservation thought price was for 2 guests ended up paying more. I would have chose a different hotel had I known this ended up paying 15 $ more, which isint a lot but was not clear that I booked only one guest

Good selection and food.

Adjoining room and it smelled like someone next door was smoking. One guest uses oxygen, so it was not a good thing.

Proximity to the airport staff was very friendly and helpful

The pillows are very small and uncomfortable. The room was marketed with queen beds but they seemed small.

Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly. This was one of the nicest Hampton Inn we have stayed at. Very close to the airport.
