Days Inn by Wyndham Middletown/Newport Area

Our room was recently renovated… a brand new bathroom with upscale fixtures, new mattress and linens that one would expect from the Wyndham brand. So glad they took over Days Inn. The staff was friendly and kept the motel and grounds spotless.

The free breakfast was a nice feature, but did not include eggs, bacon and sausage that was described in the hotel directory/binder that was in our room. We found only DIY waffles, mini pastries and cereal… all carbs and no protein.

The staff was professional and went above and beyond to accommodate their guests to make sure all were comfortable.

Unfortunately there was a fire during our stay. Again, though, the owner and the staff went above and beyond to ensure the transfer of guests to a sister hotel was made in the most professional manner and that all customers were and comfortable. I would definitely return to this Days Inn because of the owner and the staff.

The breakfast was adequate oatmeal whole grain bread would have been good but I had my own as far as the smoking it didn't bother me that it was a non-smoking room I was on the first floor so I was able to sit outside my door and smoke it was all good and I would definitely come back here again. The woman at the front desk Peru she accommodated me being I booked at the last minute and got me in earlier than expected and the cleaning staff were pleasant and smiling and talkative it was just an awesome stay

I have nothing negative or there wasn't anything I didn't like

The location was perfect and the politeness of the staff was great. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet place.

The pool was not available for most of our stay. The vending machines were out of order. The room floors were not very clean.

The hotel was well located a couple of miles outside of downtown Newport. It was easy from the town to the hotel. The room was clean and well maintained. It was fairly large with a king bed.

We paid more for the hotel than we expected to pay but we couldn't find anything at almost any price in the downtown section of Newport anyway. So it wasn't the hotel's fault!

Appeared to be recently renovated rooms which were comfortable and clean.

Breakfast was lacking. No eggs, no meats, There were some apples as far as fruit goes.

Location was good. Open spacious parking

Floors dirty and dusty look like it was renovated and they forgot to sweep & mop floors.

Staff was friendly and good. Room was a corner room. The room looked like the picture and was big and comfortable. Everything worked properly and was properly supplied. TV worked and WIFI worked well. Everything seem clean. Manager answered the phone even at 2 am in the morning and helped me with a request to check out. I appreciated his assistance and professionalism.

There was a slight odor when I went into the room however it wasn't noticeable soon afterwards. There was spider webs outside my door to the corner, inside the room seem bug free and okay though. I heard slight music playing from another room even late at night however my room was far enough away that it did not bother me too much.

The room was very clean, the A/C worked wonderfully, and there was a nice, warm comforter on the bed. The free breakfast was great. The coffee was good the the danish were delicious. I also like that I could park right in front of my room.

No breakfast available on site, however were able to go to Quality Inn across the street and use their buffet
