Hampton Inn & Suites Bluffton-Sun City

The staff was absolutely fantastic!!! Maya was so welcoming the moment we walked in. Greg ( I believe that was his name) and Jill were very helpful. I absolutely LOVE the comforters. They are so warm. The daily breakfasts were great. I love it because of all the healthy choices for my husband. The team at this particular location were exceptional!!! Kudos to all of you!

My tub was draining very slow. Just needs a good a good snaking and I am sure it would be fine. I did report before leaving and was offered a new room. It was ok because our stay was short and we were leaving the next morning so noneed to switch rooms.

Breakfast good and staff very accommodating. Problem was the coordination between Booking.com and the Hampton Inn. We had revised our arrival date with Booking.com and that change never went from Booking.com to the Hampton Inn. We got charged for days we were in even there. Booking.com worked most of this out with the hotel but we still ended up paying nearly $200 for a day we were never there. Booking.com said work it out with the hotel. They said Booking.com should refund that day. Not a very pleasant arrival after driving 2300 miles cross country. Reluctant to go through that again. And I used Booking.com quite a bit in the past. EVERYTHING! The location and Landscspe is beautifully maintained. The premises inside and out are extremely clean(I’m own a Maintenance business so I definitely KNOW cleanliness and maintenance). I’m huge on customer service no matter what profession you in. And the staff from the time we walked in until we left we’re outstanding. very helpful and accommodating. Very friendly not only to us but consistently to the other customers as well. The whole experience of travel is tiring and some times stressful. We needed a one night stop over to unwind,chill,eat and sleep. This stop and location was not planned. It just happened. We were blessed to pick this town and this facility. Absolutely 100% will visit again if given the opportunity. Can’t beat exceptional customer,clean facility,beautiful and safe location with restaurant,ice cream and package store 30yrs from front door. PERFECT!!!

Everything was genuinely perfect

There were many options from which to choose. It was all kept well-stocked, neat, and clean. The lady who stocked it was very attentive and personable. It was nice that the hot foods choices changed from one day to the next. Coffee was good!

Some of the hot foods and baked goods tasted a bit artificial.

Great proximity to Sun City. Breakfast attendant was very attentive.

Facilities could use some updating, bedside light with charging port not working. Loose tiles in bathroom. Pull out couch was very uncomfortable, even for kids! Room was booked for 4 people, room stocked with only 2 bath towels.

Hot breakfast buffet. Good variety. Would have liked more substantial cereal choices, e.g., granola. Location was close to Sun City. We were visiting relatives who live there. There is a bar and grill across the street from the hotel with live music. There's also a coffee shop with good breakfast items across the street from the hotel.

Hotel uses styrofoam cups. Suggest a more sustainable, eco-friendly choice.

I was highly greeted upon arrival. The staff at the desk was amazing. She gave the information that was integral for my stay. I didn't need any questions answered. As I was tired upon arrival she could not have done better. All the staff I encountered were top notch. The room was super clean and comfortable. My stay was exactly to my wishes. Thanks to everyone 👏👏👏

If there were any negatives, it would be the third party booking. As I travel frequently, I try to avoid dealing with third party booking. This one got me. I will be more careful in the future.

The location is great which is why I chose to stay there . Breakfast was good —- lots of different type food for people to chose from.

My only issue was that my room smelled heavily of smoke upon arrival , but despite spraying room freshener, it never let up on my stay . It almost seem to come up through the air conditioner so it constantly smelled of cigarette smoke .

Breakfast was excellent. It took time to get use to the location. We were tourist visiting for our Anniversary and would have liked to have had offered special treats or something in our room upon arrival. We would have paid for that extra touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was expecting a courtesy vehicle for transportation to local areas. The room did not have a freezer only a refrigerator so I had no place for the ice cream I purchased.

I have traveled in all 50 states and nearly 40 countries. I have never had to clean the bathroom sink, remove the trash, make the bed, go to the front desk for clean towels, and ask for clean cups, coffee, laundry bag, and rarely run out of tissues, soap, or shampoo. I go on vacation to not have to do these things, which I have to do at home. On a cruise ship, I pay less per day for a cabin that is cleaned daily, all my meals and snacks, entertainment, and transportation than I paid for this hotel room.
