Comfort Inn & Suites Airport Convention Center

I liked the location of the hotel as it was close to I-26 at Montague Ave and also good access to International Blvd. which takes you directly to Charleston International Airport. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and professional. I was impressed with the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the room. I would definitely return here when visiting the Charleston area. This hotel is a great value, I was impressed with the great rate that I received.

The only minor thing that I can think of was the driving entrance to the hotel is off of an on ramp to I-26 from Montague Ave. Traffic is very difficult to maneuver. You have to make an immediate right or else you pass the road and end up on the interstate very quickly. This is no fault of the hotel.

Not too too happy about the breakfast for 6 mornings the same scrambled egg and greasy sausage. Wish you had more healthier more protein choices.

To have some plain yogurt (with no sugar),some cheese (maybe like laughing caw or cream cheese individually wrapped).nice whole wheat bread or rye bread or beagle. More verity of fresh fruit.

The beverage machine was out of all products. When I went to the front desk to ask about it, I was told that they had no control over keeping the machine being full or empty. I wish he had told me that there was nothing in the machine to buy before I went to 3rd floor when I asked where the machine was.

They could have control over their beverage machine. Or at least call someone to have them fill the machine.

The room was spacious with all the necessary things you need including air conditioner. The hotel has a swimming pool accessible for the guest and the breakfast was good enough to start your day with a full stomach. Near the hotel there are several places to eat in the evening, which is a good thing.

There were no grocery stores near the hotel - at least that I knew of. This will be no problem when the huge supermarket near the hotel will be built. The time of my stay it was under construction.

I appreciated being able to have a later checkout and to be able to remain in the lobby for a few hours to do some work while waiting to go to the airport for check-in.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, other than I couldn't log onto the wifi with my laptop. I will say, though, that I did not take up any troubleshooting with the IT support service.

Quick and easy yo get to from the train station. Check-in and check out were easy and quick. Staff was friendly and the room was great, especially for the price.

It's a great little hotel. The door in the bathroom was broken and wouldn't stay shut, but it wasn't a big thing. We were only there for 1 night before a cruise.

Everything was sparkling clean. The front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful. Our room was made up each day. Coffee and breakfast was available. Location could not have been more convenient to the airport and Park Circle.

The computers in the business office did not work so we were unable to print out boarding passes. The front desk staff was able to do this for us.

Overall clean. The staff was great.

Outdated technology. Had to constantly get new key cards because they were getting demagnetized. The doors were incredibly noisy so you knew any time someone opened their door regardless of floor. Lastly, the AC was very loud every time it turned on.

the location, upon entrance I could smell the cleanser which was great! cleanliness of the lobby, elevator, halls and room were great and made me feel at ease. hand sanitizer pumps on walls in lobby and on my floor near elevator. check in was completed within 15 minutes. staffer great. we arrived about 2 hours early and our room was ready.

extra fee added to balance that is to be refunded, but I like to know all my costs before I arrive. not enough bathing towels..only 1 large one. requested more and received. NO SLIPPERS AS STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ROOM AMENITIES!!!!! I was looking forward to that. just sausage or b.e.c. biscuits and muffins with coffee due to COVID.

The hotel was great, staff was friendly, water pressure in the shower was AMAZING. Close to the outlets, walking distance to food.

There isn't a real blanket/comforter/spread on the bed so if you are cold natured you need to have your own. Also the toilets are really low to the ground.
