Comfort Suites North Charleston - Ashley Phosphate

We really appreciate how large your rooms were! We had a king room with a sofa bed and a two queen bed w a sofa bed and it was very spacious! Breakfast was very good, well stocked, and clean! All staff we interacted with were friendly and very knowledgeable!

One major downfall to our stay was that your hotel didn’t have any adjoining rooms so we felt like to visit with our family we left our rooms vulnerable! another issue with our stay, was that the milk that was in date was spoiled and chunky making me feel like it wasn’t kept at the correct refrigeration temperature. We didn’t go but I heard the pool was not heated and kept pretty chilly so that deter us for going swimming!

The whole family of 4 came from Florida stayed in the queen 2bed suite and it was so spacious clean and quite. The staff was friendly and breakfast was clean,stocked & hot and rate it 8/10 we loved the parking lot be well lit outside with bright lights to shine over your cars . We loved that after 11pm they lock the front entrance and you have one way in and one way out with your room key card. They short staff but if you need anything just head to the front desk to ask for what you need and they’ll give it to you.

Clean, friendly employees, and comfortable beds. We loved the pool, workout room, and free breakfast too! 😃

That breakfast ends so early! I like to sleep in a little while I am on vacation and I missed it by 1 second on our last morning which was upsetting to my kids since the lady closed the door as they were walking up! 😢 But I do understand that you have to have a set time to close up, so I brought my kids, Mom, and I to IHOP instead and it was very convenient so we made the most of it! 😊

Everything about this hotel is just wonderful to me. The staff when you walk through the door is so very pleasant and helpful. I originally was supposed to be there from Friday, September 8 through Sunday, September 10. But because of a family emergency back home, I checked out Saturday morning. Staff was very understanding and said that they were praying for me and my family as I headed back home. Will definitely stay again.

The location was close to restaurants and shopping.. Like the pool, exercise room. Good breakfast

My biggest complaint first night Friday all we heard was boom bang constantly I went out into the hallway to see what's going on. I had the staff come to the twice to hear it. Staff said its coming upstairs It sound like wild animals running at 10:30 at night I shouldn't have to pay for that. At one point we left the room went to the lobby and car. The staff went to to talk to guess he said he told them to quite down. The staff John was caring trying to solve the problem. I give him a star

We loved coffee, hot chocolate and lemon water 24/7!! We loved having a seating area to watch tv in our room! The room was very spacious. The breakfast was good with many different choices. The location was good, right off the interstate, but not noisy.

My husband slipped and fell out of the tub completely, because there wasn’t a nonslip area near the drain (front half of the tub)!!!! I pray no elderly person ever slips and falls!!! The water pressure in the sink was very low. The air conditioner would come on even when we had the thermostat set on heat…

We loved the cleanliness and availability of things like restaurants around the property. The front desk staff was awesome and other visitors were friendly and all around interacting with people on the property was great.

The only thing I can think of is we asked the cleaning lady that was outside our room if she would mind vacuuming the floor while we were out and bring some clean fresh linens and she acted like it was a problem saying they don't vacuum but she would do it anyways and asked if we needed clean linens already and we said yes and the look she gave was of frustration saying she just needed to knkw since she would have to take them all the way down to the laundry and exchange them for clean ones. Our problem was customer service wasn't her strong point where it should be considering she works for the hotel and the paying customer.

Comfortable beds and pillows with friendly staff, both day and night shifts. The breakfast looked good but we just grabbed a pastry and a piece of fruit to go each morning.

Either the tile or the carpet was VERY dirty. My socks were FILTHY each night after walking around the room in just a short time. The rest of the room appeared clean, but we had brought wipes to wipe down everything ourselves anyway as well as Lysol. The bathtub is very slippery and I can see someone easily slipping and falling. It needs some kind of tread on it.

I travel to Charleston for my cancer treatment every 3 weeks, I stay here every time. It is close to my doctors, clean, comfortable and the staff is wonderful. The price is great too. I would recommend Comfort Suites to anyone traveling to Charleston.

I can't complain about anything, I have stayed here 4 times and each stay has been pleasant. I will continue to stay here every time I go to Charleston.

The location was prime. Close to restaurants, shopping centers, and right off the freeway, I would recommend based off that alone. The breakfast had better than average variety for a standard continental breakfast. The room was larger than expected and we really appreciated that since we were going to an event in town. Beds were comfortable and not too many soundproofing problems.

We booked for the location and to be able to use the pool was overly chlorniated/smelled "off" so we didn't feel as though we should use it.
