very comfortable, very well appointed in the bathroom

we thought the room could get more cleaning , floors could have been cleaner and the doors should be wiped down . but we did really enjoy the hotel and the rooms were a great size

This is a very comfortable, immaculately clean, and beautiful casual hotel. It is located next to two must see sites, the USS Yorktown Naval Museum and the ferry to Fort Sumter. The pool and seating areas are comfortable and very clean. Our room was spacious and well equipped.

I cannot be negative because the things we missed were mostly due to Covid precautions. Specifically, room service and most of the spa services were not available. In addition the bus into the historic area was not available. We drove into town when we wanted to eat there or visit the sites. We could have taken the Water Taxi. The restaurant is fine, and the views are great, but the menu is limited for my taste, especially breakfast.

I had an amazing stay at the beach club. The room was impressive and absolutely comfortable, and the outdoors areas very relaxing. The view to the harbor is beautiful. The spa is 100% recommended, and the service in the pool areas was really great. I'd definitely would to love come back in the future.

Hopefully the new COVID-19 regulations will bring back room service and housekeeping (This applies to all hotels). The hot tub seems to have a few issues with the jets. I'd turn down the music outdoors a little bit. If I could I'd change the playlist as I felt a bit like shopping at party city, but that might be too picky of me.

The room was spacious with a beautiful harbor view. The staff (especially EMMA ) was very helpful and friendly. We had to leave early due to a medical emergency and was not charged for the last night that was booked which was appreciated. The harbor view from our balcony was beautiful and you could watch the sunset from the balcony, however we were outside most of the time. Our stay was the last week of March and the outdoor bar at the pool was not open. The fire pits were beautifully located and the trivia night on Tuesday's at the Reel Bar was great fun! Watching beautiful sunsets in the evening at the fire pits was a bonus! The resort shuttle into Charleston is a nice benefit. We also used the water taxi one day.

A carafe or carton of Half and Half at the complimentary morning coffee bar could've easily been added. The individual sizes of creamer varied each morning. But that is a little thing. I'm sure when "peak" season arrives the place is even more amazing. The parking fee of $25 per night is "included" in the resort fee of $50 per night, so it's not really free parking. Although the harbor view room was amazing, less expensive rooms are available which I would book next time.

We loved every single thing about this place! The pool, water taxi, staff and many more! We even talked to the event manager, Hannah, about planning our own wedding! She wa a great and very informative. If you’re looking to plan a beautiful wedding in Charleston, look for Hannah!

There’s always room to improve but this place doesn't many flaws at all. But if I had to choice one thing, it would be to have laundry on site inside of the resort.

Your property is amazing! We choose Charleston as a destination often and you're our new favorite! Beautiful, wonderful pools, delicious food at the Fish House.

Your check in location is a bit small and awkward in the space there. I would do additional training with the employees in this space to be a bit more welcoming also. The curb appeal walking in is WOW so it's a bit of a disappointment when you walk in and are met with less than friendly reception.

The room was beautiful and quite large. We had a patio off the back (1st floor) and the view was fantastic. You are able to watch the river traffic with some really big boats going by. The fireplace was a really nice added touch and ambience. It was really cold out (February) while we were in town and the hot tub on the river front was one of our highlights of the trip.

It was a little hard to figure out how to check in. No one greeted us so we kind of fumbled around until we caught someone's eye.

It has the most glorious view! Staff was polite. Hotel was beautiful and clean!

The room did not have a microwave, and we wasted leftovers from very good restaurants. That definitely was not a deal breaker, but the coffee and hot chocolate served in the lobby was Luke warm at best... Every day. It's still not a deal breaker, but it was disappointing, especially without a microwave.

The rooms were large and gorgeous. Especially the bathrooms. Nice location and pool area. Liked the free shuttle hourly to and from downtown.

The Fish House restaurant on the property was just okay and a little overpriced for just okay. We did have exceptional service.

The room was large and very nicely decorated. We had a large balcony that faced the pool and water which was very nice - enjoyed sunsets and quiet mornings out there. Loved the space in bathroom with 2 sinks, shower, tub and a vanity. Convenient water taxi available to take you to downtown Charleston.

Very disappointed that there was not a coffee pot in room - for the price of room, that should have been provided. The room had a very strong scent, either pumped in or sprayed on rugs that bothered me. Smelled like very strong cleaning detergent. My husband didn't find it offensive but I'm sensitive to smells.
